So you replaced the muffler and removed the resonator?

Great video but imho Flowmaster's finished products has to be one of the ugliest compared to the rest of the big companies. Cuts and welds are nasty.

Love the sound! I think this is the route I'll go on my LX. Just to confirm, you deleted the resonator as well and are just running the Flowmaster, right?

A louder muffler on a v8 is a must IMO, regardless the vehicle, nice work.

did you reuse the dampner/weight from the older muffler on the flowmaster when you installed it? im getting lots of in-cab drone after i copied your install on my lx470 2007. im wondering if the cab drone would greatly reduce when i weld the old muffler's dampner.

I have 1999 land cruiser and want to do the same thing. I want some rumble but not a loud idle. In person does the flow mast 50 have a loud idle? Also when you did this did it cause the engine light to come on? Great video! One of the best looking and sounding lx470's/cruisers I've seen

Makes my toes curl. I know this is a big ask but, could you see what kind of db noise level you are getting at highway speeds using one of those db apps for a smart phone? I am seriously considering this upgrade but one thing i like is how quiet my hundy is. If it is a nice low rumble at highway speeds it might be worth it for the "UNLIMITED POWER" acceleration noise.

Is yours a manual hub conversion? Or is that just a cap on the front wheels?
