In this video I finally get my Land Cruiser Heaven 40th Anniversary Edition seat covers unboxed and installed! I also give an update on the truck and install an LS400 Steering wheel and Sun Visor. For anyone who doesn't know, this is part tres of the (very) ratty 80 Series I've been trying to rescue. For those who don't care, unboxing starts around 4:30, Review and finished results around 10:20.

Sun roof drain is my leak gremlin. I use a 7 foot snake.

I had the same leaking issue on my 96 model. Drain plugs were clogged and haven't had the same issue since cleaning them. Good luck!

Wow, those covers look like mine should have. I had some real trouble with my 40th 2 tone covers. Way too tight. Too little material on the base and they were tight like a basketball. My shop worked miracles to get them to be tighter than those still glad to see they seemed to have solved that issue

That’s wild! I wouldn’t imagine such a variance in quality. Having a good Upholstrey shop is so critical to the process, glad they made it work!

my floorboard had a puddle of water and it turned out that my sunroof drains were plugged. After poking out the soaked, dead leaves that were blocking the drains, I no longer get water in the floorboards after a rain

It actually did end up being the sunroof drains! They were *extremely* clogged from years of sitting. Needs a windshield either way though

i was about to say that same. i have a 93 the exact same thing was happening to my 80 series and I felt kind of silly cuz all I had to do was Google it and watch ONE RU-vid video to fix the issue. Such is life

Have these exact same ones in my 40th anniversary. They are fantastic and really make the interior clean. Love the 2 tone look as well!

Daniel! This looks amazing man!! -- I have a 40th anniversary project as well....did you go with the "LUXURY" Leather or the "PREMIUM 70/30 mix" from Land Cruiser Heaven? -- Also, did you get the seat heater option? -- Thank you for the awesome videos

Thank you! I went with the luxury! I didn’t get the seat heater but honestly I would suggest it if you’re gonna take the project all the way! My view on this kind of stuff is if you’re going to spend a bunch of money, might as well bite the bullet and spend a little more and have no regrets!

we operate a 45year old upholstery shop, we rolled the dice on some Lseat covers for one of our personal cars. it took twice as long to receive them than expected. the Lseat covers were impressively pattered and sewed, ther taking steps upholsters dont bother doing....6months later we were regretting the purchase, leather top coat began to sluff off, like the cheap import vinyl we see fall apart on affordable furniture. 300$ for front row in all leather was too good to be true. now we looking for covers for a 40th anniversary LC for a customer

Yeah, my lseats looked good at first in my old 80 but I could just tell they’d fall apart quick. I definitely recommend these Land Cruiser Heaven seat covers, and I’m thinking about trying (heard good things about) the mosely motors seat covers for my 100 series

I’ve always wanted to try to Mosley covers! Might order them for my 100 Series. I had these installed by Alabama Auto Top Specialists downtown, if for some reason they can’t do them for you I’d also recommend Coverflip in Pelham

Where did you get the plexiglass for your instrument cluster?

Believe it or not it’s still available new and it’s only like $40! 83134-60100 is the part number! Just pull the cluster out and it’s a few clips and screws, just be careful not to break anything!

Unfortunately for this guy it’s not! Did a full paint correction and got it looking great with some new KO2’s and sold it to a wholesaler for $12,500, I want to say it lives in North Carolina now and is with someone who really appreciates it!
