Love the way you drive, planning to get 90 series prado TZ veriant i am surprised and satisfied your ownership with this beast. One thing please add for me about fuel ⛽ average and maintenance thanks 👍
I've had my 90 series prado for 3 years. Slowly doing it up, have a rear lokka to put in yet. Has a 2 inch lift, bullbar/winch and still haven't taken it out bush yet.🤣
Does the 90 prado factory diff lock will fit to all 90 prado variants? I have the VX model (petrol) and planning to buy and install a factory diff lock. Do I need to match the gear ratio of the front to the rear with lockers or just plug and play. Thanks
Hi. Have you also tried 255/85 r16 instead of the 265/75 r16? I am not sure really sure what I should take for my overland build Prado.Greetings from Austria.
@@TheUntraveledPath Thanks. I'm asking because i love the hdj100 and 80 but it's more expensive than KZJ90/95 Can you make a video about reliability and what can go wrong on this model ? Thanks. If not, no problem, i can see other videos on youtube
@@TheUntraveledPath qui mi dicono di non montarlo perché il 90 ha la trasmissione debole e romperei i semiassi. Tu con la tua esperienza cosa mi dici ? Un tuo consiglio potrei montarla?
@@TheUntraveledPath here they tell me not to set It because the 90 has a week transmission and I would break the axle shafts. What can you tell me from your experience? Do you think i could set It up?
@@filippolopiccolo1026My 90 has a factory installed locker so if Toyota did it, it is fine. I never had any problems. If you want to go for extreme terrain though, you might be better off with a vehicle that has a solid front axle
Hi, Thanks for this amazing video. This car is definitely very capable off road. But to make it more efficient, did you ever consider a front sway bar disconnect? According to one of your subsequent video, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wENBq2sjvy8.html your have the original front sway bar link. I am asking you because I am myself a Toyota LC 90 owner, short wheel base version, and I am considering a front sway bar disconnect.
Hi, thank you for the comment. I wouldn't disconnect the front sway bar on the Prado as it is independent suspension. This means that it won't gain much travel and might even end up binding the CVs. You are better off disconnecting the rear ones. Keep in mind that you will probably s need longer shocks. Check out this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FguCuw8WQu4.html
@@somedude3423 Great then, there are some sway bar links that you can disconnect only when off roading so you can have both good road manners and off road flex
