BEAUTIFUL MOVIE! I’m a 24 year old woman. I don’t watch movies like this, never have been interested. This is now one of my favorite if not my favorite movie of all time! This movie is a rollercoaster! Your emotions will have you feeling anxious as if you were there with them in the land of bad! I thank god I listened to the reviews here in this comment section and gave the movie a go. The movie starts off slow, and I was inching towards switching to the new SpongeBob movie. That is until, the first fatality. After that you are sucked into THEIR world! It makes you MISS how calm and SLOW it was in the beginning! The characters become your brothers and you are sad, scared and devastated for all of them! BEAUTIFUL MOVIE! GORGEOUS WORK! I have so much fucking respect for the men and women of our nation! All of them! Thank you ALL for your service, you are all braver than the ordinary and more worthy of a piece of heaven than I will ever be! You all are in my prayers from this day forward! Russell Crowe is one of my fave actors for sure, he can play Priest, cop, civilian, bad guy, whatever he chooses, and nails it everytime! And to the comment under me, YOU'RE LOST.
Ignore the bad reviews. This movie made me sit at the edge of my seat. Been a while since I saw an action movie this good! The camera angles, sound effects and direction is just top notch! It had a lot of stealth elements as well which really catches my attention; felt more like a Splinter Cell Ops military action movie. If you're into stealth, action, and great effects, then this movie is for you. Find some of the reviews here quite hilarious where they state there wasn't enough emotion. This isn't a love movie for Pete's sake! Look at it as an action flick and you'll dig every moment of it! Totally loved it, must watch!
I honestly love these types of films, sure they may just be adrenaline action junkie films for some to most people who want a complex story and more "substance" other than guns, bullets and explosions, but it's just that war action movie high that I love! Extraction, 13 Hours, Terminal List, Plane and those other military movies/shows are what I like to see and are amazing when done right!!!

Loved it!!! I sent this trailer to every vet I know. As someone else said it's a good old fashioned action movie. Also didn't know Reaper drones could loiter that long. USA! USA!
I miss the old-school war and action movies with tremendous stories. I particularly like the caption where the character emphasizes that communication is our top priority.
Just saw this movie last night. Happy to see the trailer is good without giving everything away like they usually do. And as a lover of action/war films like John Wick, Terminal list, 13 hours etc, this one got me pumped too. Definitely gonna buy it when I get the chance and watch it again and again. As an Army Veteran , and a current antihuman-trafficking agent in a tropical environment such as shown in the movie, this is DEFINITELY one of the movie that got it right when it comes too realism despite the little artistic liberties that they did take. Probably one of my favorites. Can’t say more without spoilers

Yeah, I especially liked how Russell was in the hypermarket and had 1.48 minutes to waddle to his truck, drive back to base and save the day. Usain Bolt would be so proud 😂😂😂
What a f*cking madness of a movie! Good story, a lot of action... Last but not least.. Sound effects!! If you have a subwoofer, this movie is for YOU!. God damn i can't believe i dind't get any warnings from my neightbors.. This HITS! I can recommend this 10/10

This movie brought back the 'Black Hawk Down' and 'Saving Private Ryan' experience !! Such a great movie .. The only disappointment was the ending not showing the results of Playboy and Bishop comming back to the states meeting up with Reaper .. Other than that i give this movie a 10/10 rating !! 🔥
Pple act like they know stuff but clearly you don't know anything. CCTs is an USAF AFSC/JOB as TACPs (look them up) . JTAC is a qualification not an AFSC or a job like CCT, PJ, TACP. Get it correct or do more research.
@@Helixur Fobit? Is that you? They are called JTACs in SOF because the school is called Joint Terminal Attack Controller. Every SEAL Team has them and calls them JTACs so that's what I'm going to call them. Never saw a PJ, or CCT in IRQ or AFG but I saw JTACs every day. Biggest guns on the battle field.
@@cyumadbrosummit3534 yes I know wtf jtac stands for. Again it's a special school or qualification. Not a mil occ. You can walk into a recruiter office and sign up to be CCT but you gotta earn your way to go jtac school just as pathfinder, ranger school etc. That's how it's set.
I generally am not a war movie fan but I liked a lot of the cast. Wow I'm glad I went out of my comfort zone. Excellent movie edge of my seat action. Russell Crow has a fantastic role here I loved. Surprisingly great movie!!

Watching from the Philippines, Omg when I saw that the movie was filmed from our country, I got excited ,watching these Filipinos character actors so nice to see..btw we're not bad people okay..Only that part of our country were the Abu Sayaff are, I havent been there tbh..as much as possible we avoid to go to that place where the terrorists live.

This was a good one ..as a young man I wanted to be a fighter pilot I always get excited when I see these guys flying these fighter jets .. I really like this movie. Everything was pretty cool.
I watched this for Russell Crowe but I'm glad to see that there was more to it. There is plenty of action and thrill to keep the audience interested. It's a fine film to watch. Like they say, "It's definitely worth checking out." *July 20, 2024*

Honestly, Land of Bad is a pretty decent movie for guys to watch on a Saturday night. Russell Crowe, of course, elevates the material, and the final 15 minutes are edge-of-your-seat stuff. A strong ending can leave a lasting impression, and this film wraps up well. If it had been released in the early 2000s, it would have been a big theatrical hit. Nowadays, these films barely last a week in cinemas before heading straight to streaming platforms. I recommend streaming it if you like the look of the trailer and enjoy these types of survival/war movies.
The "Land Of Bad" is actually my beloved country, the Philippines Particularly the BARMM I'll gonna watch this movie TEAM FILIPINO BADLANDS Philippines represent!

So it's a budget combo of Lone Survivor, Hunter Killer and Behind Enemy Lines? At least they could have let his hair get sweaty after running through the hot and humid jungle instead of looking like he just walked out of an air conditioned trailer.
The intent for the film was supposed to center around "JTACs" generally. One of the military advisors for the film is a retired TACP, there was a scene filmed(not sure if it made the final cut)where he has the black beret with the TACP crest/flash hanging out of his cargo pocket. The film crew also spent a lot of time around active TACPs to get stuff as close as possible without compromising actual stuff.
Now that I've played Helldivers 2 I kept relating all the Fighting in the movie with the one in the game, I kept thinking "my boy Liam knows the real firepower is on the Stratagems"

Holly shit, this actually has a Ghost Recon: Breakpoint vibe. Survival aspects, nice looking gear. But i am afraid it will be mostly about over the top action. It would be nice to see some stealth elements, like hiding in bushes or in the mud and stuff. Loosing ammo and resources, that would be actually great.

@@badabing8152 After the immersive update, the game got better. The enemy AI is one of the best i ever played against. If you wanna play against AI, that is using actual military tactics (suppressive fire, cover fire, flanking, proper comms and team work) you will love BP. They are also reloading their weapons and throwing frag/flash grenades. No aimbot as well. I am blown away by the AI (i put over ONE THOUSAND hours in BP) mainly because the AI. In coop, with no HUD, extreme settings and few other cool mods you can install, the game is insanely immersive.
Watched this on the plane. I couldn't any other movies that weren't boring. LOL. I really liked this movie, but I was NOT expecting to get choked up during that very last scene with Reaper and Sgt. Branson. 😭
