This just worked on my 07 Freelander 2, thank you so much for this video! I ended up just having to take the glovebox out and leaving the other panel you mention in situ. Once I located the resistor there was a handy gap in the plastic behind the glove box that allowed me to look through and manipulate the resistor out using my hands underneath while kneeling on the floor outside the passenger footwell. Was a battle but got there in the end. Thanks again 👏
Very helpful video John. Exactly the same symptoms with mine this morning. Just collected the new one so I'll be attempting it tonight, but I hope I can do it without making the tool.
