As a multiplayer campaign player I can confirm that I suffered way more significant damage trying to stop this doom stack (no amerstyce land ships) than I did Vs the steam tank one.
Yeah, I know what it does, I'm just not sure if it is over performing or if they are doing so much damage in melee because they are basically chariots.
@@CultistOfkhorne iirc tech gives it 8 more and there is ancillary for 20% extra sure it is somewhat slower but that 20% ward save is no joke, it equates to over 30-40% damage resistance depending on the initial WS value
You could test the meele damage by having the land ship charge uphill through enemies & getting attacked by Infantry while stationary vs how they do against single entities with comparable stats.
Talking about not taking melee damage. Yeah it's probably because of the unit mass. Seriously it's a sight for sore eye when this thing just push thru melee infantry like knfe thru butter.
How did you get the high research % and money so fast? I just finished an Elspeth campaign (~100 turns) but the highest research rate for me was around 180%.
The building you recruit engineers from gives you research rate. Build it in every minor settlement for 5% research and engineer capacity once you have enough capacity for other heroes. Money is just a matter of having a lot of green territory and high tier settlements, there isn’t any cheese I’m aware of for empire to make money. Building cost-effective armies also helps (land ship doomstack looks like a lot of fun but not really cost-effective)
