Honestly, this is impressive. I didn't know that fog could be displaced by that much. Maybe a bit, but a 100% clear path behind a plane is just mind blowing. 10/10 camera work.
@@alexalexov6019 you mean, the brave Ukrainians being attacked by your little petty dictator - and having your asses kicked hard by their army and people? LOL! Suck it.
I used to fuel this aircraft when it would stop in to Tulsa international pretty regularly. We had to line up 8, 5,000 gallon fuel trucks to load them up with about half a tank. Took several hours. It has something like 32 wheels in the main landing gear. This thing is unbelievably huge. It can only traverse certain super reinforced movement areas and taxiways as it will crush the ground on non reinforced tarmac. Really a loss I hope they rebuild.
For what purpose it should be rebuilt? No reason for it anymore. I wish as well the soviet union would still exist and the AN225 would carry Buran Spacecrafts, but the good old days of the USSR are gone
AN-225 aka "The absolute cleaner of the sky" 😄 The only plane that can turn a sad and cold foggy day into a bright and beautiful sunny day 😂 Everyone needs an AN-225 in their life 😊
@@fgm1197 Yeah I know 😔And I never understood why nobody is rebuilding this plane on an industrial scale (at least a dozen of them) after a huge modernisation of course (new materials, electronics, equipments, engines, ect). Or even an entirely new plane from scratch (would be even better). Russia doesn't do it, Ukrain doesn't want (and/or are unable) to finish their 2nd model of this plane who's rotting in a shad, and Boeing + Airbus just doesn't give a F 😒
@@Stasiek_Zabojca Well, as it's flying non-stop go-return lately, maybe same weather conditions will reproduce. But having that particular low fog and clear sky on top of it is quite rare, I agree
I live in Seattle. For 26 years I worked at a grocery warehouse that bordered the southern end of Boeing field. I saw this model in a few occasions in the summer time parked at this airport. I have seen it from the picnic tables during lunch, fly right over head after takeoff. To see it up close like this video, this plane is unbelievably huge. Surreal even to see something that big fly. Beautiful.
Bro trust me, you did not see this model coz there's only one Antonov 225 in the whole world and it belongs to Ukraine. It was built in the 80s by the soviet union, it was the biggest airplane in the world, and now its been destroyed by the russians. So you won't see it any time soon.
@@AAGul you might be right, I know there's a smaller one with 4 engines instead of 6. I worked at the warehouse that borders the south end of Boeing field here in Seattle from 1992 to 2018. I wonder if there's a way I could check to see if that plane ever came to Seattle. Was it used commercially or just for Ukraines military? I gotta do some digging.
August 31st 2007. Google search "has the AN-225 ever visited Seattle?" The third article down from the Seattle PI newspaper has an article with a dated picture of it landing at Boeng field. It is the 225, it has the 6 engines. Not 4. I wasn't sure to be honest. It flew around to a few places. On the Google search there's info about it going to Moses Lake, which is a very small city in the middle of Washington state, but there is a MAJOR flying cargo hub there that UPS, DHL and FedEx all use regionally. The runway is one of the largest in North America. Why it went there I couldn't tell you lol. The runway is 13k feet if I remember correctly. Boeing uses it as a backup landing spot when making loops around the middle of the state on new planes. The 777 in particular.
@@gakiddo9586 советский союз построил этот самолёт, как мы видим без советского союза украинцы не могут построить ничего , не корабль, не спутник, не самолёт, не танк.
I have seen many, many, many planes land and take off. Yet, I have never seen such a change in the sky - wicked cool. And yes, I subscribed for more...
My dad worked in the area of Frankfurt Hahn EDFH. He sometimes saw planes of the Antonov fleet there. He once described a phenomenom exactly like this with the An 225
I doubt a lot. As pilot actually made a mistake and crushed a wheel pillar of this magnificent flying jumbo by too rough landing, so it had to be transported from landing strip in emergency mode. Or maybe it was just overloaded, bcs this is kinda strange with modern altimeter.
Awesome video of an awesome plane. RIP Also, this a great visual of the invisible danger that is wake turbulence. Notice the fog being spun into rotating vortices trailing behind the aircraft.

This is magnificent. That behemoth of a plane goes straight through the fog and brings the blue sky on its path. Every aeronautics fan must be amazed by this allegory.
While I don’t speak Russian, i do know that plane as I have seen it over at an airport in Central FL, USA. Pretty sure this is the largest cargo plane in the world and I absolutely makes every other “big” look like a matchbox toy when parked by one of these beasts. An absolute marvel of engineering and sheer Power from the massive engines it has. What a spectacle to see close up in person!!!!!!
Rzeszów city is in Poland :). I agree with rest of your comment - this plane is absolute beast and pilots must be brave people to sit behind a wheel (control column) of this marvelous machine.
Absolutely incredible effect the way it clears the frosty fog! And incredibly sad that just a few months later it would be destroyed, not too far from there. So sad.
