Hi, I’m Aron Kyro, a sponsored skateboarder from the San Francisco Bay Area, ant today we are gunna learn tre flips! (Now you have to like this comment lol)
miguel perez I just can't figure it out, my back foot just falls off (like touches the ground), so it can't follow the board and front foot.. Like I just can't pop it.. Do I have to jump or anything?
Edsonmine You don't have to jump and that would be difficult since you are a beginner. Front foot: Keep your front foot almost in the middle so it can slide more. Make sure the point of your foot that you slide with is aligned in the middle of the bolts when you slide and when you position your front foot. Back foot: As for the back foot just place it where there is more suface on the tail and make sure your back foot is a little back from the middle of the board. Shoulders: Make sure your shoulders are aligned with the board. Make sure you are a little behind of the skate board. How to pop: Be honest with your physical body and your attention should grow. The pop is like a jerk motion and you have to get the rythim of it. For a basic practice, you can just do a little pyramid jump on the floor. Also practice your attention because you need alot of attention when it comes to skateboarding. Landing: Make sure you pay attention to your backfoot and make sure you move it inside the deck.
I been skating for years this trick was always the hardest. I've masters all the basics right down to double kick flip. what helped me in this vid was I never had my toes so far off the tail. makes a huge difference plus leaning back kept it under me. I always felt I had to jump forward. thank you for the tip so much easier to beat ppl in skate. now my next trick is figuring out the double heelflip. idk if you have a vid for this but I can never get it to rotate twice just once no matter how hard I kick it.
a very nice and motivational video. Watched it today and finally relearned tre flips after a three year break. Thank you braille skateboarding, never loosing them again.
I'll be 50 next April I've made it my goal to learn tre flips!!! lol I've watched a number of tutorials but I think this one gave me the most info. I've been popping, then scooping and trying to kick flip the board almost at the same time. Just knowing that the key is it start the scoop before the pop.... that's the money info there! :)
Nikolas Gibson Hey dude you really inspire me to become a better skater and work harder I'm 12 and I love skateboarding, i think its kind of cool watching kids my age (or close to it) work as hard or harder than I do. I think you are an amazing skater, keep up the great work, and it is so cool that you get to work with Arron Kyro. Your a cool kid.
I'm still in the very beginning of skateboarding but I love watching videos like these and going to my local skate park and watch my friends skate and do tricks and have them help me try to do some cool shit sometimes
I’ve been watching a lot of skate videos recently and I just can’t help but react highly when people first land their tricks. It’s just an awesome feeling idk
I friggin love treflips. I really wanna get this trick consistent, i been practicing it for about 3 months and landed my first one in 1 week and landed a few after but it's still not consistent enough
shinyscizor12 How often do you skate? If you skate every day then take a break for a couple days, Cause your muscles in your legs need time to relax to heal and get stronger
A remember when I was learning them and they felt like such a hard trick to land! It gets easier with practice and soon they'll be a trick thats part of your warmup
The key to the treflip is honestly scooping the board in front of you or forward, and not to the side and just consistently practicing that scoop motion. With your front foot it is a slight kick forward when your board is between 45 and 90 degrees after the scoop.
When i first started watching this channel i could barely ollie and not even shut it. Now i can kick flip! Thanks for all the support and videos to keep me committed.
I was having the EXACT same problem where only my back foot was landing on the board and the board was landing behind me and this video helped me land my first treflip!! Even though the video wasn't for me in particular I want to give you a huge thanks!
ohhh in the 360 flip tutorial vid i thought you meant leaning back horizontally relative to the board and not vertically. This makes so much sense now! thanks Aaron gonna try it again today
can you guys answers my questions? thanks! -do your shoes matter? -if you have an 8.27 size deck, does it affect the scoop? -should your shoulders be sideways or parallel to the board? -is the scoop affected by loose or tight trucks?
I still love to roll around, pop a kickflip, or try flatland tricks I've never landed every now and then. (I know I'm not going pro any time soon). I've got a beer belly now and can't jump down stairs. My Obamacare only goes so far...
Can you do a how to on how to bail and fall it would be nice. I just broke my ankle skating a down rail, I only have a week left till I get my cast off, and I wanna prepare myself so it doesn't happen again.
i had the same problem. The thing i did was scooping harder , stop turning my shoulders and flick more out and not steer the board with my back or my front foot
nice work, it seemed like the want of making the trick happen is like a 'hope it works', all things about set up aside.. and maybe once they're counting the rotation/timing of the board rotation.. seeing it in the camera footage.(onsite).. they can plan on where their body needs to be to land it faster. It might take a little bit till the trick is nearly there before eval
Hey Aaron! I've been trying to get down my kickflip but i just can't land it. I can do the flick perfectly but only when I step off and not try to land it but when I try to land it I can't flick the board around enough. I don't know what I'm doing wrong I've tried jumping higher and I've try flicking my board harder but it still never spins around completely when I try to land it. I've watched your videos about kick flips over and over again but I just can't get it right. If you have enough time to maybe write back it be pretty sweet! Love your videos Aaron keep up the awesome work :)
