I would like to see more. Is this game more a novel ? How much impact will decisions have in the game? . In Tainted Grail there were many situations, where the decision was not important. The result was quite the same.

ohh this video looks gorgeous. the game itself that these components hint at does not convince me (there is also way too much apparent midjourney in it for my taste) but the presentation is top tier
Good luck finding that. I feel like so few content creators for board games actually offer a largely unbiased opinion. They’re all provided with a steady stream of free games, and to stay in the good books of all the major players they need to provide positive noise for sure.
Surely you need to pay someone to make an "unbiased" review of the gameplay, it's not that has been playtested a lot with better result than their past projects
@@05insomnium I don't have to do anything and no one is punishing me. I often talk about the negative aspects of the game in my reviews. Just so you know.
@@pandora8999 And that's exactly what it's not. Since I have been recording for my channels, no one has ever paid me to speak positively. I don't know from where you have such a conviction. Just because a creator says something positive doesn't mean someone had to pay him!
Some solution (like trays) is needed for saving the character state between sessions. One character seems to require a huge amount of table space with its side board. Then again smaller game area does compensate this. Hopefully footwear like items is 2 boots in a picture for final version. Hoping that items are more interesting than +X for some stats.
The board looks cool, but excatly how is it different from a character sheet + cards? Those tokens are thiccccc, 5 of them are equal of at least 30 cards, it could be a storage nightmare
Boa, the boards are hughe 😮 well I hope they redesign those… also the equipment tiles are massive… why not using cards… than they can provide way more „loot“ 🤩 well thank you for the presentation. 🙏🏻 I will follow it on Gamefound 🙌
True, some of the tokens (especially for marking attributes) are very small, and therefore not very convenient. As for the equipment tokens, I suppose you can expect, for example, some acrylic replacements in the deluxe version (although this is not confirmed information) so they are not cards. Moreover, the version with cards I think would take up even more space. And this player board is already very large. I am not judging which solution is better - just sharing my observations. Ultimately, the publisher will decide.
Love your gloves and nail paint. Campsite with persistent upgrade cards to slide in is nice. But the items look very meh. For example the circlet and boots have no stats, no keywords that indicate any game effect, nothing. So yeah it overall has that Diablo like video game vibe but I see zero substance. Once again, not compelled to buy any AR product so far. And for future videos please make notes so you don’t need to say you forgot...
Thanks for your comment. To clarify - I played this board earlier this year when it was in early prototype. At the time, there wasn't even a rulebook, as the authors changed them on the fly as we played. Additionally, consider that the rules of this game have changed significantly in the interim, so my notes would not contribute anything here. Probably, too, the gameplay now in the prototype version will still be a bit different from the one players will finally get in about 2 years :) Keep that in mind.
The fact that you won't bother paying a real artist to create the character illustrations (which is an important part of worldbuilding) makes me question if you are not just using AI for avery single other creative step, like story, text and even rules.
