I have this on my '21 Sonata SEL. Along with adaptive cruise control the car drives itself on the freeway for as long as it has gasoline. I got used to it very quickly. Made long distance cruising so much more relaxing.

Does the warning “keep hands on steering wheel” happen often? Cuz that sounds pretty annoying if it does. Looking to have it steer me while I keep an eye on it to make sure it does it’s job

@@brandonkienzler4842 It's not an issue at all. They say seconds for legal reasons. The first warning is visual only, then the next has a tone.

Same here, my wife got '21 SEL in beautiful portofino gray. I quickly got to know its strength and weakness that I always turn it on even while driving on side streets as well. Some say that is dangerous but I say it actually much safer in the long run. Also, it is so much fun seeing how it works. Too bad my '07 Mitsubishi Eclipse doesn't have one.

Really? I know how better it is compared to other mannufacturer's LKA but most owners who submits youtube videos of their new Hyundai doesn't even know how to use it. While watching their videos I wanna shout "use it, its incredible technology that you're wasting it!" hehe

@@othman0077 I just learned about the K8 from you. From reading it it has a better system calle ADAS. I think this will compete with Cadillac's Super Cruise, Ford's BlueCruise, and Teammate from Toyota.

Semi-Autonomouse technologies. Gazillion of safety features (it will take an idiot to crash this car). Fuel efficient machine. Remote start via Bluelink or keyfob (useful in very hot or very cold climate areas). Refined and yet sporty ride. Lots of room (comparable to large cars from years ago). Bargain price for the segment. In moment of auto chip shortgage, no shortage of supply, well at least here in Nevada, so you can easily get rebate or negotiate price. Who would not love their Sonata? 🥳

Bug splats over the camera will also render lane assist useless. Use windshield washer to fix.

I just leased a 2022 Sonata with this and I use CarPlay. It’s like the USS Enterprise in Star Trek. I use Siri for maps and messages. No photon torpedoes though.

I tried LFA with Kona version two years ago and I loved it. Traveling becomes so comfortable . Not like a Tesla but great response at high speeds. Sad they don't put it in i20 cheap version only the nline top.

Might be a silly question but, is this same exact cruise control system available on the Hybrid version? Looking at a 2020+ Hybrid Limited

Yes it is. Just to clarify something, the LKA (shown in this video) is a separate technology from the adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go. On side street with lots of traffic lights, I use LKA without activating the cruise control since I have to use the brake and gas pedal a lot.
