Fun fact: Langlang says he experiences colors and visions while playing. Which in medical terms is a very rare phenomenon which is called Synesthesia, which a person associate colors and vision with music, so he is basically in trance while he is playing, that makes it more special that its divine intervention to allow him to play so well.
@@Yaya-ug8qp Divine intervention does not necessarily mean from God, it can mean talent. While with Lang Lang is both hard work and talent. Sometimes people with talent don't know why they are good at things, its comes natural to them without thinking, that is divine in its own. Not everything divine has to be something to do with religion.
The worst part of this are those comments who complains about his performance, he just do it so well, they haven't win lots of piano competitions like him.
Lang Lang puts the "music" in the music and inspires us all. He allows us to float out of the cares of this world into the beauty afforded by the music. There are few other artists that have that ability. Hauser in the cello appears to have a similar talent.
people coughing and sniffling in the concert hall is really embarrassing (...) Magnificent work by Liszt played by a very Talented Pianist 🎹🎶.../... from France
I like Lang Lang because he never plays a Steinway without letting it know he's the boss. <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="119">1:59</a>, <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="132">2:12</a>, <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="136">2:16</a>
Beautiful ... I would LOVE to hear him do that on a Stuart ... just imagine how beautiful it would be with the Stuart's amazing sustain and fidelity...
I go so deep into this I swear and it makes me cry lol. This song is like a movie! It's a journey about remembering, stumbling and falling and chaotic times in your personal growth. Growing and becoming more graceful 😂❤
Фантастическое исполнение! Браво! ❤ Уникальный музыкант. И всегда найдется в зале человек с бронхитом, который забирает на себя приличную часть внимания. 😂
Amazing how people have their own interpretations of this piece. I have my own way of playing it, ie I don’t play the first cadenza that fast, but then again I’m not Lang Lang 😂. I play the last section after the second cadenza, a little quicker, but in general I like this piece to have a good flow to the end. Don’t get me wrong, Lang Lang is a virtuoso genius, but some parts of this performance isn’t me and that’s just personal taste and interpretation.
CET ARTISTE EST EN LIAISON AVEC LA "LUMIÈRE ".....QUI PERMET UNE TELLE INTENSITÉ EXPRESSIVE ET COLORÉE.... IMMENSE TALENT ! IMMENSE PERSONALITÉ ! IMMENSE TRAVAIL ! IMMENSE SUCCÈS ! GRAND " DON DE DIEU ". 🌿
Sounded like a wrong note in the left hand thumb but it was just the pronounced voicing that made me think that. In his other recordings it’s not so much there in that moment
@@TheColonelMcKernel sorry i didn't realize i didn't put a time stamp, it's at 3:31... its not a wrong note it just is played differently in his other recordings so i was caught off guard
Lang Lang's interpretations always make me smile and cry, he invokes nostalgic emotions in me I haven't felt in years, like my first love in high school
