It's after so many years that I luckily came across this exquisite rendition of the Maestro for the first time. It moves me more than all the splendid versions of other great pianists. Bravo, bravissimo Lang Lang 👏 👏
Escuchar al joven Lang Lang me hace soñar con la serenata de Schubert. Magnífica interpretación y bendita internet que me permite escuchar para mi el mejor pianista del momento. Desde México año 2020, gracias mil Mr. Lang.
I heard this via violin when I was 7 years old. It took me the better part of a decade and a half to find my way back. I can't tell you the depth that this song digs and cuts into me. Ive never been more whole in finding it again, and to hear the crowd cheer for it...I can only say thank you
This is literally the only time I like what Lang Lang plays. I mean, he plays everything so damn fast... It might sound impressive, but not good. This piece on the other hand is the opposite. I heared it damn fast so many times and I am tired of it. Thumb up!
Despite all the visual shit, this version has a rage in it. That’s a legit emotion, it’s his way to feel the music. Personally, I think it’s as good as Buniatishvili’s version. It depends in how I feel.
Why do you call his visuals shit, its how he shows his emotions. Get over it. Keith Jarret growls like a pig and makes sex scenes with the piano while performing and people say what a genius he is.
And lang langs interpretation has logic sound and coherence, while katias dont. Katias version is all a soap opera type of playing. Sugary with no theory behind it.
@@pianosenzanima1 by visual shit i think he also refers to the changes of camera angle every 2s, less cut would have made this piece more pleasant to watch.
You better play much better than him while making whatever face works for you that's totally different than his. ...if i could enjoy a video without stupid comments, it would be quite nice...
I don't know what exactly transmits emotion while listening to piano music, but this one doesn't. The bad recording probably plays it's role. I prefer Khatia Buniatishvili 's very and Horowitz's versions.
I did. I find Lang Lang's more inspired, perhaps less faithful to the text, granted! My favourite is Buniatihvili's ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SlTTgJau33Q.html. Thanks for allowing me to get to hear Horowitz's!
mbayssel - Unless you acknowledge that there are many versions of this famed song then your comment would carry true value. Lang Lang plays HIS own version after the models established in the arrangements made by Liszt, Heller, and other composers. Where, exactly, is the "wrongness" of his rendition?
