Thank you for this video, John! I'm very glad that Brooklin has relaunched Lansdowne range. Hope, we'll see new models oc British cars in this series. Will be wonderful if Brooklin continue its subbrands like Lansdowne, RobEddie, IPV. As to the model, it looks fantastic!
Lovely model, I am just about old enough to remember the real cars still trundling around the streets. The 'face' of the Minor is quite hard to capture and the Lansdowne model does a good job. Corgi Classics got this wrong with the oversized 'goggle eyes' headlights and thick protruding 'lip' around the grille which is way too prominent. This always spoilt an otherwise acceptable and very affordable model. The simpler and even cheaper Lledo version of the Minor actually had a more convincing front end I think. Hopefully there will be a regular programme from Lansdowne going forward, wish they would release an upgraded Rob Eddie Saab 99 and Volvo Amazon.
