You are 100% right. Besides, I always said: immediately screw every part on the tractor before it disappears into the abyss of our workshop. The tractor weighs 4,000 kg (8,800 lb), and won't disappear so easily :-)

@@classictractor1083 I'm just glad to see that people are bringing older tractors/ equipment back. They might not have a lot of hp but they have massive torque and it gets the job done. I have always been a fan of antique vehicles. Growing up it was always steam locomotives.

Bo prawdziwy fachowiec musi mieć giwta ! jak nie pali maszyna to pali on:-) tylko że czasem pali się wszystko na raz! ale to potem szuka się nowego fachowca i nowej maszyny :-)

Przez sprzęgło i skrzynię biegów. Sprzęgło jest jednostopniowe wielotarczowe, skrzynia biegów jest z wałkami umieszczonymi w poprzek. Szczególnie trudna jest redukcja biegów, ponieważ trzeba: (1) nacisnąć sprzęgło i bieg wyrzucić na luz (2) puścić sprzęgło (3) zrobić przegazówkę czyli zwiększyć obroty silnika (4) nacisnąć sprzęgło i wrzucić niższy bieg. Cała procedura musi trwać bardzo szybko, pół sekundy do sekundy.

Speed and power variation comes from the metering of the fuel as it's injected to be vaporised by the hot bulb. Lubrication is by the total loss system. Fresh oil is pumped to the main and big and little end bearings, from where it falls to the bottom of the crackcase to be picked up from there and taken to a second [used oil] tank, from where it goes to lubricate the piston, being burnt off in the process.

Yes, it is necessary to heat the head up. However, such tractors were only started once a day or just once a week, in many cases they were only started every few months. These vehicles could work hard for the entire summer without any breaks. Only drivers and their helpers changed. Fuel and oil were supplemented in the field without turning off the engine.

Einige Beispiele sieht man auf meinem zweiten RU-vid-Film. Alle Ursus-Teile sind mit „C45“ versehen. Daher wird es bei einer Besichtigung schnell klar, ob es sich um einen Lanz oder Ursus handelt, oder eine Mischung. Also, man muss sich einen Glühkopfschlepper näher anschauen, um diesen als einen „Lanz“ oder einen „Ursus“ zu erkennen. Ein kurzer Film oder einige Fotos reichen nicht aus, um solche definitiven und kritischen Aussagen zu machen.

These tractors were far too expensive to take breaks from work. Therefore, complicated engine starting once a week or a month did not matter. The tractor drivers and their helpers worked in 12-hour shifts. To summarize, such a tractor was driven non-stop, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including bank holidays.

Czasami odbierałem części osobiście zajeżdżając do Bielsko-Białej, a niekiedy prosiłem o szybką wysyłkę kurierem. Pracując w Holandii zajeżdżałem do Pana Egelmeersa spod Eindhoven. Rob Egelmeers przejął firmę po zmarłym ojcu Janie, legendzie w środowisku pasjonatów pojazdów jednocylindrowych. Wspominam go bardzo ciepło, bo po północy otwierał dla mnie swój warsztat. Jest znany z wysokiej jakości kół zębatych do szybszych biegów. Ma przystępne ceny. Wysyłkowe sklepy derLANZmannheim oraz Delegro mają szeroki asortyment, ale są bardzo drogie. Poza tym można się rozglądać za częściami na Allegro, OLX czy niemieckim eBay. Kierując się tymi wskazówkami można zdobyć każdą część do Lanza czy Ursusa C-45. Życzę powodzenia w zakupach.

Oryginalny polski „Katalog Części Zamiennych Ursus C-451” z 1957 r. nazywa tę część „zbiornik przedni”. Z kolei niemiecki katalog części Heinrich Lanz z 1955 r. nazywa tę część „Steigrohr”, co można przetłumaczyć jako „zbiornik pionowy”. W praktyce najczęściej słyszałem (i używałem) potoczne określenie „tablica pionowa z napisem Lanz”. Wtedy każdy wiedział, o czym mówimy :-)

Die Wirtschaftspolitik in den 70er Jahren. Solche Glühkopfschlepper waren sehr erfolgreich mit ihrer extrem langen Lebensdauer. Dann kam aber eine Anweisung des polnischen Ministerrates in den 70er Jahren: die polnischen Tankstellen machten den Ölverkauf abhängig von der Altölrückgabe. Um 10 Liter Öl zu kaufen, musste man 5 Liter Altöl abgeben. Der Glühkopfmotor verbrannte zu viel Öl, weil das gesamte Rücklauföl durch das Schmieren des im Zylinder bewegten Kolbens verbrannt wurde. Deshalb gingen die Glühkopfschlepper in Polen zu Schrott, oder wurden wie dieser Schlepper vergessen.

Zgodnie z przepisami w Polsce, zabytkowe pojazdy nie muszą spełniać wszystkich współczesnych wymagań (jak europejskie standardy emisji spalin), jeśli zostały odrestaurowane do oryginalnego stanu.
