I've been loving the new #Laowa 50mm f/2.8 Macro manual lens for #microfourthirds photography. But what about using it for video? I took it into the garden and the woods to give it a first try at capturing footage on my #GH5.
One new advancement for Laowa is the addition of a CPU chip and motor that allows the aperture to be adjusted via the aperature dial on your camera body. It also means that the focus magnifier on my GH5 is automatically enabled when rotating the focus ring, thereby providing easier focus control. The lens data can also be recorded on EXIF.
