Setting up your LaPorte Ultimate Boat Shade Kit on the bow of your boat is a simple, one-person process that only takes about 5 minutes to install.
1. Locate the two telescoping poles, T-Screws, and buckles included with your kit and remove them from the storage bag
2. Place the grommet end of the buckles over the tip of the telescoping poles and screw the T-Screw on
3. Adjust the telescoping poles by pressing the button and extending the pole to the desired height, then place the poles in the rod holders
4. Locate the white SeaSucker Suction Cups and remove the plastic covering from the bottom of the cup
5. To attach the suction cups to the t-top, press the cup to the surface of the T-Top and proceed to repeatedly push the orange plunger until the Suction Cup is secure and orange is no longer visible
6. Locate the black 10ft straps
7. Run one 10ft strap through the handles of an outer suction cup and middle suction cup. Secure the buckle and tighten the strap, and then do the same with the remaining 10ft strap and suction cup.
8. Remove the boat shade from the storage bag and locate the blue center strap and logo patch (this identifies the edge that will attach to the t-top and the side of the shade that should face down).
9. Fasten the royal blue strap to the middle suction cup with the logo facing down
10. Continue attaching the corner straps to the outer suction cups. Attach any remaining interior straps to the framework you created with the black 10ft straps
11. Locate the opposite edge of the shade and connect the corner straps to the buckles located on the telescoping poles
12. Inspect your straps and pull them tight so the shade is taught
13. Use the included Velcro Tabs to clean up any loose straps
