I always enjoy the breakdowns. Very quality videos. And yes, that one corner was a bit tight. - Rider in Red

Great that someone pulled off a race of this caliper in Lawrenceburg! Hope all had fun. Sadly, seemingly more racers than spectators. Born and raised Hoosier here, welcome to our world...

Holy smokes, that was a wild ending! Dude, Ferg is a frickin beast! Him and Caleb were on one heck of a run. When Ferg told his plan to Caleb about "trying to get across", was he just referring to catching and trying to lap the peloton, or what? I didn't quite follow. Another thing I wondered about. How did your team mates know to fall back and wait for him to come around? Are there support team members around the track relaying info? Surely, that wasn't coincidence. Sorry for all the questions all the time Drew. I appreciate your time answering them. Take care Mr. Drew.

For sure. Me and the team director were on the sidelines giving info and time gaps. And they could probably see the lead moto behind the peloton as well.

Nice vid. I love your editing style. I wanted to do this race but bailed because I thought it was going to rain all day.

It did look that way. But turned out to be really nice. And thanks!

Not even just during a race. Sometimes I'm riding with others and I know a few people who are soft-spoken AND they never raise their talking volume and I have to constantly say "sorry, what'd you say?" 🤣. Meanwhile, I have a loud voice and I raise my voice while on the bike so people can always hear me very clearly and I do that because I think it's thoughtful to do so 🤷😅 I've been seeing Ferg at Intelligentsia through Will Hardin's videos haha. Talented racer, that Ferg 👊 And great control of the last 5 laps by Roadhouse lead-out! Great communication by Ferg. And FIB rider almost took out Ferg and then the two FIB riders almost take each other out (and others behind)... 😬

Yea. Those last few turns were dicey for sure.

@Drew we need to get you out to the Tour of Somerville here in NJ. We've got better pizza than these other criteriums you race in 😇

What amazes me is I hear the drummer grooving with sax but I never see them? Do they have one on every corner? 😂

You guys are so used to Ferg lapping the field that you're ready and waiting when he does it again.

It’s hard to tell in the video but it looks like the last roadhouse leadout guy purposely cuts in early in turn 3 at 16:35 to block the FIB guys. I understand trying to protect the inside but it seems like he left it open and made a dangerous move to close it at the last second. Thoughts?
@DrewDillmanChannel
@DrewDillmanChannel Год назад
Yea. I think you’re accurate. It’s his first year riding with a team. He’s definitely still learning some things.

Which camera is this ?
@DrewDillmanChannel
@DrewDillmanChannel Год назад
GoPro 10. I think the stabilization feature got turned off for this video. It’s not usually so bumpy.

Which go pro(s) are you using?
@DrewDillmanChannel
@DrewDillmanChannel Год назад
10 and 11. This one was the 10. Stabilization isn’t as good as 11.

what did ferg mean he would get shit from the team if he didn’t lap?
@DrewDillmanChannel
@DrewDillmanChannel Год назад
If he lapped and then lost the sprint. It wouldn’t have been good because Ferg could probably drop the other guy by attacking before the sprint.
@haydenm.3912

@@DrewDillmanChannel So was he just saying that to the his break mate to justify why he attacked and try to get them back to working again?
