If you play staccato in a small room without any reverb, it sounds very "dry" and aggressive. If you listen to the movie version, they added a ton of reverb. I was asked to play it for a wedding. In gothic churches, you have a lot of natural reverb, so there I played short notes and let the echo do the rest.
@swordwoman86 It's a C trumpet. I use both. I use the C trumpet when I need a bright "fanfare-like" sound, and the Bb when I need something more mellow (I made another trumpet video where I use Bb)
@HeeroYuy424 Thanks! My cousin hand-wrote it for me to play at the wedding ceremony of another cousin. (they requested that tune since they're manga/Japan lovers)
@kickmstrong Hi, the score is not on the internet, it's home made, but I can email a scanned version of it (Idon't think you tube messages allow attached files, so you'll have to send me you email), I don't I've already sent it to a dozen ppl.
it sounds like ur trying to squeeze out the notes so all u gotta do is take a deeper breath b4 u play! i dont play the trumpet but i love this song! ima percussionist! and pianist
what are you talking about?? how could u tell from that one sentence that shes dyslexic? I only corrected her because morning is a completely different word from mourning, and it makes a huge difference bc this song is happy, not sad -.-
@MusicAnimeNSX Mine is just a hand-written one done for fun. If you know Joe Hisaishi, You should tell him to publish the thing : I get 2-3 ppl a week asking me for it. (just don't tell him I give my version away for free, I'll stop doing it if the score becomes commercially available)
I really hate to say this, but is it not true that some of that should be more staccato rather than legato? This is based off of my musical interpretation.
@charbitsk8 Bonjour, effectivement j'ai la partition à l'écran, mon cousin l'a noté et me l'a envoyé par mail. Envoyez moi votre email par message privé et je vous l'envoie.
@EECote I sent it, but you shouldn't send email adresses on comment pages, it's better by private message (I get a notice immediately, and it's less risky for you)
I tried, but I don't think the email u gave me works (As I said in the video, don't give your email in the comments, use private messages, or you risk getting spammed)
sorry about that, I didn't realize you would be so touchy... btw I had no idea u were dyslexic, and I wasn't "correcting" u, I was just commenting on it so people didn't get the wrong idea since u have top comment... besides, since when is correcting rude? its just spreading the knowledge :)
non, j'aime pas le foot dsl, je voulais juste savoir avec seulement le "et voila" de la fin je n’était pas sur, et sinon ou est ce que t'as appris la trompette?
I changed my username. Middle name of Grace. I have dyslexia. There's really no need for correcting someone on the internet in general. Sorry I was so rude, but seriously, insensitive.
