Here is one you will like if you make it through without tears, this will get them going this performer is going blind. OH, they sing this same song. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Q-YhC_o3G1M.html Please watch the whole thing.
Lara Fabian is the top of the tree as far as singers go. Cannot think of anyone who can touch her. She is something else. As close To perfect as i have ever heard. All those other rated singers who believe all their hype must feel a little humbled when listening to this woman.

I congratulate you, you will discover the unique wonderful world of Lara Fabian))) She is an incredible performer, and she is now 51 years old, but she is still just as great)
This performance is the proof that emotion has no language barrier, great reactions. No matter if you do not understand french or you did not have the English subtitles! You can feel the emotions from her performance
I didn't understand a single word. I didn't have to. The voice, and the emotion alone is enough to give you chills. And break you heart at the same time.
No comparaison with Lara, she is UNIQUE. Nobody goes close to her level of intimacy. We live thé story sung by a real artist. No singer, but ARTIST WITH A BIG A. She is thé Michel-Ángel of thé singing.
Thanks for your genuine reaction to the amazing Lara Fabian! Lara is a phenomenal singer and Artist and she is absolutely unmatched as a live performer, and not only is she vocally perfect, but she also is a true Queen of Emotions and no one can compare to her. This performance of «Je suis Malade» is an absolutely brilliant timeless Masterpiece of the Highest Class! In my opinion this incredible Lara’s performance is one of the very best live performances ever in the whole history of music. I have seen this performance countless times and every time Lara's voice pierces me to the very depths of my soul and brings me to trembling and tears. Lara is simply out of this world…
This is "the" greatest live performance I have ever seen, equalled only by Je t'aime, another epic performance from her, I have listened to this performance over one thousand times now & it makes my eye's well up & leak water every time, "Angelina Jordan" is the only other performer that comes close to Lara's level of ability, control, emotion & amazing voice, oh & that breath control & the subtleties Lara put in there are mind-blowing.
Je suis malade is a song by Serge Lama, released in 1973 as a single and on the album Je suis malade . Written by Serge Lama to music composed by Alice Dona, the song becomes the most emblematic title in Serge Lama's repertoire, who regularly performs it on stage3.

This song was written by Serge Lama (lyrics) and Alice Dona (melody) about 1971/1972. Serge Lama was married at this time to Daisy Brun, his press secretary. He met his second wife Michèle Annie Potier who also was married at this time, and they fell in love. As Michèle Annie Potier was building up her musical career in Northern Africa at this time, they could not meet often. So, he told his friend, Alice Dona, that this situation makes him sick. Alice Dona wrote the tune in about 15 minutes (she was ashamed of this being so quickly and said it had to be whispered to her by angels) and gave it to Serge. He wrote the lyrics in about 2 hours. His disc company (Phillips) was hesitating to publish a title with "sickness", but it appeared on his next album. The song grew popular by the cover of the Egyptian-Italian singer Dalida. Since then, it is considered as a classic of the French chanson. Lara Fabian's version of it was chosen as his favourite by Serge Lama. Lara's interpretation of the song was always changing. You will find several versions by her on the internet. If this ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-q_bq5mStroM.html not existed, "Je suis malade" would be the saddest love song in French chanson history.
She is one of Dimash's idols, and wrote the lyrics to the "Adagio" he sang at Singer 2017. She has also worked with Igor Krutoy in the past, and you saw her sing "Ti Amo Cosi" with Dimash at Igor's birthday concert.

She sang in the 1988 Eurovision the year a lady by the name of Celine Dion won it. Lara is one of the greatest her tone is on another level and is Dimashs idol. She does best cover of Caruso I’ve ever heard from a woman
I have seen her several times with my memere (grandmother). She introduced me to Lara back in 97. I took her to a concert in Montreal. This reaction video made my day.

She's Belgium Canadian born in Belgium & raised in Canada for a time she moved back to be with her parents, but she now lives back in Canada... She sings in 11 languages This is from a special she did called from lara with love When she speaks of pouring her blood into him as she symbolically cuts her own throat with her thumb.. oh my soul...... & The ending We actually watch her pull herself back from the world the song created for her into herself & then recognize there even is an aduience with her.. This is one of those rare incredible moments Magic is captured on film> Thank you for sharing your reaction
thank you ... I am delighted with your reaction. I encourage you to continue your discovery of Lara Fabian. magical, unique, breathtaking, you will not be disappointed. thank you for your reaction. take care of yourself, yours.
This song was written by Serge Lamas in 1973 and later popularized by Dalida but Lara made it her own with this performance as she goes so deep into her emotions that it took her a minute to recover after singing it. Actually, this whole concert “From Lara with Love” is sheer perfection and so emotional, and i do recommend you react to other performances from that concert with songs like Adagio, Caruso, Broken vow, Perdere l’amore, and You’re not from here.

Finally Lara!! She’s one of the best vocalists of our time, no wonder Dimash admires her. This is actually a song about heartbreak. More Lara songs please like: Caruso, broken vow, Adagio

Une des plus belles interprétations de cette chanson qui date des années 70, composée par Serge Lama et Alice Dona. Cette interprétation me tire les larmes à chaque audition
Title: zsuh swee muhlahduh To me Lara is the second best female singer in the world, surpassed only by Sohyang. Lots of days I would reverse that. This is the best vocal performance by a woman ever. By a country mile. This is an old Serge Lama song. But it was absolutely true for Lara at that time. You saw how long it took her to come out of it when she was finished. I love that you said she couldn't see anybody. I've always wondered if she knew she was getting a standing ovation--not only from the audience, but from you as well. For those of us who love her, it was an honor to see that. As always, a great and thought-filled reaction.,
Maria Callas (1) Barbara Streisand (2) Lara Fabian (3) Whitney Houston (4) Céline Dion (5) and then it's up to you. Note: tastes are to be cultivated not debated.
Wow you really made me smile. Memories here. My family is from Quebec and I spoke French at home first even though we were living in Massachusetts. My memere (grandmother) loves Lara Fabien. I have taken memere to see her several times. I was 20 in 1997. You remember what we were like at that age? Loved our mothers and grandmothers but going to concerts with them? Come on now lol. Anyway, we were at a family reunion in Three Rivers Quebec. Lara had moved to Canada a couple years before. She had a concert scheduled in Montreal. Memere wanted me to go with her and it was strongly encouraged by my parents. I did have a fun time and I knew it meant a lot to her. She is 89 now and I love that lady more than I can possibly express. Thank you for the reaction. This song came off the most recent album from back then. I have known it for years. I was going to write some thanks and praise in French but why make you use a translator? Instead I will just say, I love that you are open to music and content outside of your experience. That's a lesson memere taught me all those years ago. Leave your comfort zone. You might be surprised. Paix et respect Jamal. (Couldn't resist. Paix means peace)

I must also say she was robbed at Eurovision 88, Celine's got nothing on this fine & extremely talented woman, never liked Celine that much at all, but I could listen to Lara every day for the rest of my life & not get enough of her.
Lara Fabian is, in my opinion, a complete artist. She is one of the top female vocalists out there. She’s not only a great singer, producer, actress, and songwriter. But she is an actual genuine human being who can connect to millions of people worldwide through her music and her voice. You should check some more of her work. I’ll guarantee you that you will also fall in love with her. Thank you for sharing!✌🏼
This song, and Lara's delivery is absolutely devastating. She is so immersed in the lyrics ... it is stunning. Her voice is beautiful. This is a masterclass. Thank you
Hi Jamel, I'm French and I understand your reaction to the video. This Lara song brings tears to my eyes every time I listen to it, she's a GREAT ARTIST. Congratulations LARA
Lara Fabian I love her eyes when she pushes the note 🎶She's amazing ❤️🙌🙌 other song by her "I will love again" lyrics in english 👌 on this one she pushes the note 🎶, so great 🙌🙌, beautiful woman, EVEN NOW 🔥🔥🔥👌

Well, that's not true. She was (is) a big hit in Belgium, Eastern Europe, and France before she went to Canada. I actually think being in Canada has hurt her career because she is always compared to Celine, whom I consider to be a lesser singer.
@@davidcullen6797 No. She had relatively minor success in Belgium when she decided with Rick Allison to move to Quebec at age 19/20, and did the bar circuit and local TV for 9 years before becoming a so-called 'overnight' success. Then to France when she signed with Polydor. At that point, she became a star in French worldwide. The American interest in Lara was sparked by her success in France and Quebec had nothing to do with it. They tried to pigeonhole her as a dance, pop music Queen and that didn't work out for a number of reasons, which included the fact that Lara as a songwriter/singer resisted this limitation on her art. Her success in Eastern Europe through collaboration with Igor Krutoy came much later. She lives up the street from me in Westmount (Montreal) with her husband and daughter and is often seen out shopping; always a smile, friendly, outgoing.
@@davidcullen6797 Dion is the lesser human being as well, imagine demanding music and concert halls not book Lara. What a sad petulant child Dion was/is.
All she sings is gold, her lives performances are all pure pearls ! Adagio, Caruso, Je t'aime, Mademoiselle Hyde, Broken vow, Love by grace, You're not from here, L'oublie.. And so many others ... She can sing in English, French, Italian, Russian, Spanish ... she incredible Love your reactions Jamel Peace from France ;)
In general, when we've lived a little and we look back, we realize we've allowed ourselves to be often overwhelmed by feelings, by emotion rather than by reality, than by facts. When we're younger we greatly idealize things, situations, people. When we then went through some very hard sentimental setbacks like those expressed in this sublime song written by Serge Lama, then we endure the breakups much better. And above all, we anticipate them. However, it happened to me to have real tears running down my cheeks while listening to this magnificent interpretation of this track by Lara Fabian. And yes, what do you want ... Hunt the natural, it comes back at a gallop! 😋
Lara vous a transmis tellement ses émotions à travers sa voix sensible pleine de nuance 😊 je vous ai senti vraiment touché pendant toute la chanson merci pour ça 🙏❤
She’s also a judge on La Voix (the Voice) here in Québec, Canada 🇨🇦 I am obsessed with this song, that performance, I have goosebumps every time and so emotional
What you said at the end is ON POINT!! And very important. Anything is better then being lost in someone else...it is completely unnatural and must be broken out of!!!
She is simply drawing the pain of this song in front of us, we feel it ! I'm from the Province of Quebec in Canada, we are so proud of her, she is one of the best singer her with Celine Dion and Ginette Reno. Thank God for so much talent,
She is one of the greats, very glad you got to hear her and "Je suis malade" is one of her best pieces. Not her original song but I think she has made it hers. Try others she has done: Adagio, Je t'aime, Caruso. They will all probably make you weep, I certainly have. Stay safe.
Je = juh Suis = swee Malade = -mah-lad Lara = Lahr-ah Fabian = FEY-bee-in It means "I am sick" - this is one stunning performance 🤯🙌🏼❤️🇨🇦 She is one of the singers who Dimash thinks VERY highly of. He looked up to her for his whole life for how well she inhabits her art. She wrote the lyrics to KNOW (composed by Krutoy, sung by Dimash in his flashy red suit). And she originally sang MR HYDE/MADEMOISELLE HYDE.
I rather like the idea more of I have a malady. ( being a perhaps better translation - while french could use the possesive I suppose I dont know if it would scan so well or put over the stress , but I am Sick sounds wrong in english, the other way is more shakespearian)
Another classic my parents used to listen to a lot. Honestly, this song never got to me back then, but now that i hear it again its going straight to my heart. Beautiful

You have witnessed the binding of two geniuses... The lyrics are From Serge Lama. He had also a powerfull interpretation but in the 70's style... And then... Lara showed and bring this song to a all new level of awsomeness.
after many times i ask to you to react Lara Fabian live , gooood 😎👍 few other song live from Lara Fabian --> Caruso , Adagio = she wrote this song , Broken vow .. 👍✨🎶
She had an English language hit on the American charts 20 years ago with a dance song, "I Will Love Again." It got a fair amount of airplay on radio and VH1 at the time.
For curious Americans who know where Europe is, Lara Fabian was born in Belgium (Wallonia region). Belgium has 3 official languages. 58% are Flemish (speak Dutch) 32% are Walloons (speak French) 10% are German speakers (speak German) So she speaks French, but she is Belgian. Just like Celine Dion or Mylène Farmer who were born in Quebec and sing in French, they are successful but are not French.
She is in my opinion one of if not the best singer to live out the song in a performance ever. She is stunning her. A masterpiece. Singers need to study this to understand what life emotion can do for a song.
Oh my goodness I have never heard of Lara or Dimash until your channel I thank you from the bottom of my heart you've opened up my world thank you thank you...x
Hey Jamel! The song is one of the most popular songs in France by Serge Lama. Came out In the early 70s and has been covered by many artists including the late great Dalida. Lara is a gem for the francophone world and one of the greatest voices ever.
A beautiful and insightful reaction like yours is like a gift for her fans. 👏👏👏 You pronounce her name right. I suggest to watch from her Adagio, Broken vows, Caruso...you'll see her range and that she sing & speak perfectly in multiple languages.
Thanks for the reaction, I've heard 'Je Suis Malade" called the second saddest song in the French language. Some say Jacques Brel singing "Ne me quitte pas" is the saddest. Lara Fabian is a mesmerizing singer. I'm sure others fans will point to her classics, like the live versions of "Adagio," "Love by Grace," and "Broken Vow," but I'd pick "You're Not From Here" because its lyrics start: "I don't know what is going on.." ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Vv8XFXKXRLI.html That video link has a short interview lead in where she describes discovering music, then she sings. Also from 2019 with just her and a piano live : "Par Amour" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--aPARDwf2ug.html The official Par Amour video (w/English subs) is :ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rjrTd8VeP64.html
She also sings in English, she had a very popular song back in 1999 I will love again. She's from Belgium but she did her singing career in Montréal Québec Canada.
At this time in her life Lara was going through a period of depression and contemplated suicide, but picked herself up and carried on. For a REAL tearjerker please review her "Je Taime" performance where the audience took over and showed her how much she is loved. As a 78 year old man, I can't help but think how ANY man could treat this gorgeous creature badly. By the way, she sings in 8 languages.
A TRUE Artiste! Superb! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Thanks for your reaction....AND....your advice. Spot on. You "get" it. 😊 New to your channel so I don't know. If you've done ADAGIO...great. if not.. please do. Lara Fabian also had some success in the 🇺🇸 with "I Will Love Again"...it was huge in Europe. But that was several years ago.
