Lara is a really intelligent and talented , she speaks four languages and singing twelve different languages

Many spanish reactors were jaw dropping, saying she speaks the spanish from Spain (not latin america) perfectly, it sounds almost as a native, She lived a bit in Spain (a few months in Marbella region) but it was 10 years after this song was recorded so I supposed she just learned it all by herself before. I know Lara has now some spanish speaking friends (eg Eva Longoria is one of her good friends) but again, from what I know, this was not the case when this song was recorded.

I had not heard of her before and I was taken with the whole video. I agree with you. As soon as the music started and she started to sing, the two were intertwined with each other, inseparable. A beautifully crafted piece, enjoyed her singing very much thanks for this. Gonna watch it again.

Perfect Spanish. More regular central Spain, very neutral. "tu vos mahiné" is pretty difficult to replicate naturally. The backgoun singer is killing it as well.

PS the does speak Spanish fluently and this songs became very popular as a soundtrack of a telenovela and its more romantic/happy with a big of nostalgia but overall is about lovers giving each other a 2nd chance.
