I like watching your halls I am trying to get away from the junk in food. It is hard. I stopped buying Great Value. I want to not buy stuff with GMOs. I want to get better meat like get a cow (or part of one) but it is so expensive.

Do the best you can, one step at a time! We get a half beef in the fall for around $1100-1300. But it does last us all year. In order to do it on a budget you’ve gotta make more stuff from scratch which is hard in itself! You can do it!!

Actually buying from the rancher is cheaper then meat from the store, especially when you factor in all the specialties cut such as steak that is $12-$17 a pound and you pay on average $4 a pound for all cuts of beef…. And most food is gmo not just great value

If you look around you can find a beef for less $ 4. We just did ours for $2

Why not cloth diapers? Alot cheaper and not much more work maybe one load of wash a week, but less in garbage

Sadly, I just can’t do all the things. I know my limitations, and just know I wouldn’t be able to keep up with it. I do well enough to maintain the normal laundry for 8 people.
