May you have a blessed Good Friday! Thanks for taking us along on this day. We're planning the same way with food...thinking of our favourites, letting the family take turns picking what we'd like to enjoy. Today we have ham and cheese sliders for lunch as we all enjoy warm/toasted sandwiches to keep things different. Lots of fruit to go along with those...plus dirty jambalaya later on with some veggies on the side. A real favourites with all of us and leaves great leftovers. We'll be eating both in the garden thanks to the nice weather right now too! Luckily it's almost noon...talking food's making me hungry!

I love the colors you chose for the kitchen and for the rest of your house as well. It is so pretty. I’m glad you had the idea to use a light color for the upper cabinets and use a darker color for the lower cabinets in the kitchen. It makes it sparkle!

I see you used applesauce, but You can sub mayonnaise, yogurt, flax, ...... So many substitutions out there, but Mayo is my go to, in a pinch. Approx 3 Tbl for a large egg. What amazing memories with your kids!

This may be one of my favorites of your videos. I love all the baking of the treats. Loved your Easter apron, and the new music when mixing the pumpkin muffins. I would love to have a gentle running creek! How gorgeous. That was a perfect picnic spot. I see why you have so many children, because your husband is so affectionate with you. So sweet. I add a sweetener always to my sauce but i use Splenda or whatever sugar substitute i have. It does make the sauce delish!

You mentioned a pool. It reminded me of the video with five bear Cubs and a mama bear playing in someone's back yard. The bears were going in and out of the pool. They played in there better than little kids. It reminded me of when you tell us about bears in the mountains.

If you're low on butter/oil you can always used mashed beans! Add a little water so they are pasty. You'll never know the difference in baked goods!

My family owns a steel manufacturing business and we also have a machine shop with all kinds of Cnc machines. It is amazing what they build. Your husband is very handy and creative just like mine is. My mother did not home school but she had her hands full because it seemed like my dad was out of work a lot due to the shop going on strike every time a contract came up for renewal. One time it was three months.
