Come see our new van! We recently bought a 2018 12 Passenger Ford Transit with a medium roof, vinyl floors, and more! Come take a tour and learn why we love it!
Thank you for posting this! We are taking our huge family on a road trip and this was the only video I found that went in depth on the van and the space. I’m hoping and praying we get one just like this! Your video was so helpful and your kiddos are so precious!
I use your youtube videos as my white noise to help me sleep at night. also I am autistic. i like 15 passenger vans, and Airbus A321 aircraft as a hobby. i also like Yamaha stereo equipment.
Nice! We just bought a used 2015 12 passenger Chevy. I like that it has cargo space. We had to let our 7 passenger Montana go as I am due in less than 2 months. Had it 10 years! Hoping this van lasts that long. I like how tall it is, too! Makes buckling kids while pregnant much easier. Love seeing that you can vacation in yours!
@@ofelialimos9520 they wanted commercial for us, too, but we proved to the insurance company that it was a passenger van as we basically swapped our license from our previous van. We couldn't get the extra insurance on the keys like we hoped to, though, because all the sales stuff online automatically claims it as a commercial vehicle.
Great video, we are looking at something similar for a family adventure vehicle. We are 8 so a 12 passenger with the rear seats removed should give us enough space for a bed or two and storage!
We have one of these at Spring Hill Suits ours is a 2018 350 High top roof model and the 3.7L 6 Cyl and I've noticed we use 93 octane premium fuel and were getting 23 highway/ 17 city 20 mixed. I have noticed it has a lot more power with the premium fuel.
I have a question I haven't been able to find online. Do you know the distance from the first row (not counting driver and passenger seats) back of seat to back of van? We want to convert a 12 passenger mid roof to an 8 passenger (get rid of last row) but wanted to see if our bikes could still fit into the van along with our 6 kids between the 1 and 2 configuration of the actual second row (not counting the front seats). Also do you know the distance from the 1 and 2 seat config of the second row? Thanks!
I'm thinking about getting one of these but what I'm trying to find out is how well the seats recline. Our big kids HATED taking a road trip in our bench seat van last year because they were sitting straight up the whole time and couldn't get into a comfortable position. Does the slight recline in the back seats make a difference? Or barely as much as airplane seats?
How are the seats for car seat installation? We are looking at this for our next vehicle but all of our kids are still either in boosters or car seats and it’s tricky to get them all installed. Just wondering what your experience was. Thanks!
It was SUPER simple! And the tether is easy to use too. I like it because every seat has its own seatbelt which makes it very easy to install car seats anywhere!
Do all of the seats recline flat or are they able to bend so that you can actually lay a mattress on them and go camping? Or do you have to physically remove the chairs? I'd like to be able to ideally keep the chairs in but lay them entirely flat. Is that possible?
So I’m planning a trip with my family to go from Illinois to California and I have 12 ppl out of the 12 2 are babies and I’m just curious is this 12 seater better or is the 15 seater better for us to have we need cargo room but running out of options 😭
Get the 12! There is plenty of room for carseats, and plenty of cargo space. It is the same size as the 15 passenger, so when you have less seats, you have more cargo room.
Hi do you guys still have this van? If so do you only use to go on a vacation? Or do you use it for daily needs? Me and my family are thinking about getting one ...
At first, I would park WAY out there, and there are still some times I will do that to avoid close quarters, but I've gotten quite adept at parking just about everywhere with no issues. There have been a few occasions where we didn't fit through a drive through (couldn't make the turn) or found some parking lots to be way too tight, but that is rare.
Slightly. There is a handle that you pull on that allows each seat to lean back just a bit. But definitely NOT a full recline like the front passenger seat.
@@amandacollins518 Yes, we did. Honestly, it was the price that held us back. We love Nissans (we own a Xterra and our son owns a Maxima), but the big vans are so pricey!
