Excellent Job John ..I have been inspired by you many years ago.. I built your sausage grinder design myself. Then i did a 55gl drum upright with a big door and mounted it on and old gas grill chassis ..All electric Set the temp and leave it..I use a pellet maze smoker down below the barrel mounted in a mailbox to put the maze smoker in. i insulated with water jacket .. Built a digital temperature controller up to 1500 degrees more then enough.. Thanks John. Happy Smoking...
Hi, Randy. Thanks for your comment. I like your idea of using the 55 gal. drum upright - and the maze pellet smoker. I just bought a maze smoker last week and will be using it in the next 2 weeks. My smoke generator works great but if the electricity should go out (which it does frequently here) the maze pellet smoker should do the job as well. Great idea with the water jacket.
