I have three words you are smart because who would think that in to this situation

Sakura balding is normal for their species, they might not have mites, but I'm not saying that they can't. it's common for baby kittens to scratch themselves, it could be a sign of grooming in some cases, or perhaps they got some grease or oil on their coats that's bugging them, why does this bug them? It bugs them because when the feeling of grease gets on kittens skin, it could make their skin tense or dry, and it makes their skin itchy! I'd advise to get a rag and dip it into warm water, and try to slowly go through their backs with it. This will clean their skin as well as loosen it! I would not fully bathe them in just water, due to them being kittens unfamiliar with water touching their skin! If you don't go through with this process, it can dry out their skin, although theirs skin doesn't feel dry, that doesn't mean anything! I have experience. Make sure you get kitten safe shampoo, and thoroughly clean them with the rag.

my cat star was adopted into our family after two years of life with a breeder, she was a breeding cat so she had multiple litters of kitties. we had already purchased a cat from these breeders (they were in the same litter) so when these breeders told us they were no longer breeding cats and asked if we wanted her. of course we said yes because we really wanted a new baby in our family. but she was very very skinny and had little fur. the breed of my cats is a short haired cat but she was almost completely bald. we later on found out she had ear mites and she gave it to both of my other cats. then maybe half a year later we came to find out she had a medical issue and my other cat did as well. they had a parasite basically. so fun fact about my trauma with that lol

It could also b her wanting to pick up the kitten and carry it in her mouth like she did with her puppies. I have a female shih Tzu who had a litter of puppies and if she's around a kitten or a puppy lil enough to carry she always tries to pick it up. Her mothering instincts kick in and she just wants to take care of it. I see Lark more trying to do this than hunt the kitten.

First they need to be vaccinated/spayed/neutrered. Do the right thing.

Just because she thought it was prey instinct doesn’t mean he has to give them out. Me having a 97+ pound dog, and a teeny kitten who doesn’t even weigh a pound, and a female dog (45+ pounds). They absolutely love him but did try to eat him at first. I just had to say “no!” and “leave it”

So Joey, it's pretty much keep the cats locked up in one room, which is extremely unfair and I know, from experience, that they hate it, or MAKE the dogs get along and have them in stress almost every time they see the cat.

That must have been awful. My Aunty has a dog who grew up with cats and one day she found strays kittens on her property. She thought she might keep one but her dog saw them and raced over. Before she even had a chance to process, her dog had mauled all of them out of nowhere. I think because he had only known adult cats, he didn’t realise what they were. I hope Joey realises this is the kind of thing his viewers are trying to help him prevent.

I love Sakura and the kittens. I wish he could keep them, but seeing how the dogs reacted, and after reading your comment, I see that it wouldn’t be a good idea. If the presence of Huskies in the house is going to present a life-threatening situation for the cats, and stress out the dogs, then it’s best that he not keep any of the cats. I wish that Joey would read constructive comments from his subscribers, I think that most are just trying to be helpful, so that none of the animals end up getting hurt or stressed out.

I agree, he shouldn't keep the dogs, I have 4 cats and 3 dogs. When we got my first dog, we had three cats with an obvious boss. They put our boxer (now 9) in her place. We then got my second dog, a Bernese mix, who is slightly afraid of the little animals because of the cats being the boss (at the time we also would have fish, rats, mice, etc.). Eventually, one of the three cats passed, and we got a new cat, he was immediately putting the dogs in their place when introduced, our boxer was being playful and motherly, and our Bernese mix would get scared and run (with the cats being boss plus high anxiety, we knew it would happen). After that, we got a chihuahua, she is the underdog of our animal pack, but is allowed to eat food from the other dogs without them getting upset. Recently, we got a kitten. She has a big attitude and has yet to find her place with all the cats, two of them are still unsure of her energy. She is doing well, she is house roamed with supervision during the day and stays in her quarantine room most nights. My animal situation is different than Joey's, he should definitely consider not keeping the cats. He also needs to get them checked for mites, my kitten had mites a week ago and had the same ear-itching and near balding situation. If he does keep a kitten or Sakura, he'll spread it to his dogs too if untreated.

Ya, I have a lab to and I got my current cats after him but we had other cats at the time I think he might have barely interacted with. My dog is fine because we made sure to train him to be fine around my cats and she is the boss. I feel like Joey won't find anything wrong with his dogs and it could end up to one of the cats dying. He needs to discipline them

When they’re bigger it will be better. Dogs are scared of fully grown cats, but not kittens. So I think that he should give away the kittens, but he can definitely keep Sakura

MajesticFatGuy this isn’t entirely true. I have 5 huskies who’ve never been around small animals. I recently adopted 3 cats, and they all get along perfectly. It just takes time.

Some huskies can get along really well with cats. Shane Dawson adopted an abandoned husky and it was a little rocky between her and his cat at first but now they chill out together

My dog had a prey reaction to our kittens and it tooks us months to safely introduce them, but it feels like these introductions are being rushed for the sake of a new clickbait video. Foxy Blaze that’s the issue with some huskies and cats.. they think cats are prey. They are very in tune with their hunting instincts. Not all huskies kill cats but a lot do, and with 4 there is a chance it will likely happen There’s already been pack issues with moon and his litter mate.

Huskies Actually have nothing to do with wolves. They are 100% dog. They look like that because they come from Siberia and they have adapted to the weather and being sled dogs. If that is what you were getting at

You need to take the foster husky back to the shelter. You need to get her into a different foster. Do not risk your cat and the husky’s lives like that. You’re going to end up with two dead animals if you keep her around.

A foster animal is NOT YOURS, you DO NOT own a foster animal - you are simply giving them a temporary home until they find their permanent one. Please EDUCATE YOURSELF PROPERLY on husky genetics and behaviour. Huskies are notorious for killing cats and other small animals, even small dogs because they have a high prey drive and once they see the smaller animal running it clicks in their head to kill them and there’s no turning back.

It's really disgusting that some people don't understand dogs are individuals. My husky is in love with my cats but Joey's huskies %100 could NOT ever live safely with cats. My friends husky was very much like Wolf and bonded with his kitten but two years later he accidentally killed that cat trying to play. Josh is being a very irresponsible owner! He's not even doing a half way acceptable job at trying to introduce them.

I know Joey loves the one that comes to him. She’s so sweet to him. I know Joey will be heart broken, but for the safety of Sakura and kittens, I think they all should be adopted. My daughter has a husky/shepherd mix and she goes after every prey she sees or smells. She was a rescue dog so we don’t know much about her, but she did kill a kitten. She’s constantly killing birds. These husky type of dogs have such a strong prey instinct. Again, before you give up, talk to the professionals before introducing any more kittens to your dog. By the way, you have so much love to give to your dogs and kittens. Such a lovely person with a big heart. 💜🐶🐱

He has 4 huskys!!! The cats/kittens are not safe there so no , he should give all the kittens/cat a good forever home that are dog free or have dogs that by breed simply will get better along with cats!!!. If he keps one it will end up in disaster for the kitten. He has been warned So hopefully he loves them enough the kittens / cat to realise that!.

Erika Luleå not really i have 3 big dogs and 3 cats. they’re fine. had the cats since they were kittens and the dogs adapted and i watched them till i knew it was safe. if they wanna keep one they can as long as they don’t just leave it around until they know the dogs are trained

Erika Luleå it doesn’t matter the breed when it comes to what types of dogs will get along with cats. All dogs have a high prey drive, no matter the size or breed. It mostly just depends on the dog itself, their personality, and the amount of training they have had.

Husky are have been bred to have a high kill drive. This is do to when husky where manly sled dogs they would have to mostly hunt for there food. It is recommend to not have any small animals in the same house hold, but you can train them to not go after your cat, but they should not be left alone unsupervised.

Someone with a brain! It's not safe with his dogs no matter what he thinks. Every kitten, cat and dog meeting previously has gone wrong (apart from Wolfy being a big sook). Huskies are pack animals and kittens are furry playthings or food to them clearly!

I totally agree, it was so scary to watch that 🥺. My uncles current dog had to be rehomed to him since he has a house without cats and a fenced in yard because his prey drive was sooo high he killed a neighbors cat at his first home. And he’s only part husky... it’s too dangerous. I feel for Joey after taking good care of the babies but it’s too dangerous

Sorry to say this but their mother or the dogs could pass them the fleas. Hence why kittens are supposed to be dewormed and deflea by age of 8 weeks. A person can come into contact with a cat outdoors and bring it into the home without realising. These kittens abd mother should be checked over by the vets before handing them to their forever homes

@@sylsuthss I was wondering when he was planning to get them vaccinated and dewormed. Sakura needs to be checked by a vet too. She is getting balding around her ears. The kittens appear to have itchy ears too. Maybe they have fleas or mites. Like I love these videos but I'm starting to think joey isn't doing his due diligence. He should because these animals are making him a shit load of money😧
