Yes I'd say the carrier seemed to hinder progress for MaMa and Auntie. Good idea though, except I'd keep the space limited until they were pee pad trained.

@@bkm2797 I'm kinda pissed off. I posted while still watching the video. He didn't dedicate himself to these adults. Now they're going to be scared than ever until hopefully find a forever home. Edit .. he's ditching them. A dog going from one shelter to another is devastating and humans getting rid of.

shac9131, I don't know if you saw the situation from an earlier vlog, but it was a filthy hoarding and puppy mill situation. Joey was ask to help because it was an emergency and they needed to move quickly, so Joey said yes and came down to assess the situation (it was awful), but he took these babies and sadly the weakest one didn't make it. Wagmore is reputable , lots of famous people contribute to their cause to save these animals, so please don't worry they are going to be even more traumatized, I think this will work itself out for the best. Joey is a sweetie and would never do anything to harm any animal, thinking he was perplexed and unsure of how to move forward, luckily Wagmore was ready with new homes, just not sure if it was for all of them.

@@bkm2797 Agree, I'm sure joey was just temporary so the dogs had a safe home until they could figure out all those dogs needs. The two older dogs obviously need more help than Joey can or is trained to give. He stepped in and kept them safe until it was all figured out.

Maybe try putting a piece of vinyl flooring down for the bottom of the pen area instead of the pads? That way they won’t be able to dig it up. Any hardware/construction store should have rolls of flooring. Might be worth a shot!

Hey Joey! I just recently got a pom and have been using a wood pellet litter box for potty training. He picked it up right away and will go do his business in there fairly consistently. Apparently the wood pellets better mimic the outdoors so puppies are less likely to confuse it for the floor (the way they might with pee pads), which also means a smoother transition to outdoor pottying when they get a bit older. It's so much easier to keep his x-pen area clean! I only learned about this recently--I potty trained my first dog the old-fashioned way! Just wanted to share!

Around here many breeders use mudroom carpets under puppy pens, the mat can be bought by meters and it has rubber underneath and the top is very coarse. It helps the puppies move easier, and/or keep the bedding in place. They are also cheap and easy to clean with a powerwasher. I don’t know if americans have that stuff but it’s amazing for this purpose.

Having fostered for over 20 years and mostly older fearful or traumatised dogs. I just feel you need to chill out and calm yourself. You’re so loud and Invasive to their personal space. Fear and trauma takes a long time to heal for some 😞 everything should be gently gently ❤

Pleaase Joey, read the comments! There is lot of people, who have experience with traumatized dogs like these. Please, consider the ptsd of these dogs! Edit: I do get what some of you are saying, but this isn't really about us or Joey. We just simply wannted to help the dogs.

I’m sure that they would feel more confident if they had a few more spots to hide/ hang out but I can understand the poopy puppy of it all. - Hand feeding the momma and auntie high value treats, - being quiet and low to the ground, - avoiding direct eye contact and words like “Bad and No” because of potential past trauma, - keep an eye out for fear around hands coming towards the face (sadly some dogs learn to expect to be hit 😢) - lying down and letting them come to you is always good, - let them see you read, be boring etc. as much as possible. 9:10 was specifically scary, they got really reactive ❤ But tomorrow is the last day with them in foster with Joey! He’s done an excellent job being a temporary safe haven.

Please, try using CBD bites and take the socializing slower!!! Going immediately in there and picking them up, forcing them to be friendly can just provoke their PTSD and not help at all, or very slowly

The sugar content in the snapple is lower that's why the elements drinks no longer taste the same. They have to abide by food and nutrition laws now which requires drinks to only have so much sugar and high frutose.

Hi this is about mama and aunty you need to take that carrier out of there because giving them a hiding spot will make it take longer to get used to you or any human contact I did this for a fearful dog that me and my roommate rescued off the streets she never had positive affection her whole life before us so when we took away her hiding spots and started working with her more she got better and now she doesn't feel the need to hide.
