True Story ... For years, Larry King was a favorite of mine and then one day he became more. My Angel. In my younger years I watched his interviews faithfully. And every chance he got, he’d talk about the miracles that came out the Cleveland Clinic (including himself). When my friend, Karen Drosnes, was in heart failure for the 3rd time and feeling quite lost because the local docs were giving her a very grim prognosis, I took the liberty to write Larry a letter explaining her situation and I asked if he could pull some strings to get her to Cleveland YESTERDAY (she did not have insurance). And within days he was on it. Not only did he arrange to have Karen seen by the top docs, but he paid for the entire freight! No questions asked - he just stepped in and made it happen. I remember the night before her surgery, he called to personally wish her well. He was a trip! We laughed and we cried all at the same time. I always loved my boyfriend, Larry (joke between me and my friends) but after that, he literally lived in my heart. And he always will. Quaker Oaks actually used one of my quotes on the Oatmeal container a couple months following. I don’t exactly remember how that happened but I do know his son, Larry, Jr. contacted me for permission to do so. I was honored. Larry King was an amazing soul and he single handedly saved my friends life - he literally received my letter and within a few days we were in Cleveland. God speed to his wife and children. Larry always had one foot in heaven and I’d say he’s “all in” right about now. Love you Larry - thanks for the memories! We will never forget your generosity! RIP sweet man 🙏🏼

I often went to sleep listening to Larry King's radio show on Mutual. In my opinion that was Larry at his best. I called in a few times and was amazed that I was able to get through each time. No censoring. They just put you on the air: "Bethesda, Maryland, Hello" and off you go. It was amazing how he could do a 5 hour show unscripted night after night and keep it entertaining. One of a kind.

I have been watching Mr King for 3 plus decades. This man helped me find my passion for politics and broadcasting. Being his ability to communicate so clearly. And having political icons on that even as a young man I earnestly wanted to learn about. He crossed all racial and religious divides and genuinely just gave you an interview. Alot of us grew up looking forward to celebrity interviews he had on his show. CNN would never have been as successful as it is without King! May he rest in peace ✌ " Or shall I say signing off"

No, not Larry! I loved his interviews! He asked brilliant questions - simple but to the point. He asked important questions. He was incredibly empathetic and always tried to be honest and present the problem from every point of view. I loved listening to his voice - he had such a warm, soothing voice, it might sound strange to some, but I had a lot of his interviews on mp3 and listened to Larry to sleep! I really wanted to see many more interviews, with many famous personalities, done by him ... Now there is no chance for that. Rest in peace, maestro! Your number 1 fan from Poland! 💗
