In June 2000, deputies discovered human remains in a wooded area near the Calibre Bend apartments in Orlando. The skull was found with a bullet hole in it, indicating a homicide. After years of uncertainty, genetic genealogy analysis in 2022 identified the victim as Paul "Larry" Rougeux Jr., whose death dates back to the early 1990s.
