I swear, Michael Winslow's performance in this movie never gets old. The Kung Fu stuff always cracks me up. The way he talks and then mouths stuff as if he's in some cheap, low budget Chinese/Japanese dub of a Kung-Fu movie is hilarious to this day.
I also always liked the crazy dude. I think he was a bad guy in the second (?) movie, I forgot his name. Damn it's so long ago since I watched these...
him and larry the cable guy lived down from my aunt here in florida. wish I'd have met the two of them, but according to my cousin, she'd tell me that they were the two most down to earth celebrities she's ever met lol. they'd stop by from time to time to see how my aunt, uncle and cousin were doing. see the horses and just bull shit.
Blessed with an unique skill, amazing acting talent, on-spot comedy sense, and a great personality! Thank you, Michael Winslow for deliver us such an unforgettable character as Larvell Jones!
This man is a demi-God of sounds. So much that even Chuck Norris calls him sometimes to have a battle of roundhouse kick sounds. He is the only one to ever slightly impress Chuck with the sound of a Norris Roundhouse kick.
I spent *FAR* too much of my youth trying to replicate Michael's sounds in the 80s. I managed a decent harmonica for a while, but anything else was just subpar. He's just an incredible talent!
1:20 This, (Pac-Man death sound) and the video game gag afterwards are my favorites. He even does the Donkey Kong hammer theme, sounds from "Joust," "Galaga," and some other games. I also like the electric razor bit. Who am I kidding I love everything Michael Winslow does.
He is one of my favorite guys and comedians in the world. I always loved to see him perform. Seeing him on America's Got Talent was a highlight for me.
