I'm a caregiver to a loved one who has difficulty with certain dishes. This is a great alternative to the "traditional" lasagna recipe. Also, thank you for saying these dishes and recipes are what you make of them. I've always felt that recipes are guidelines to making a dish your own! ❤
Words of wisdom from a Wyse guy: It's rustic and that's perfection; It's ugly, it's okay - we're gonna cover it with cheese; and Everyone remembers the good food !!!!! thanks for the recipes, helpful hints, encouragement, and delicious inspiration ... well done !!!
Looks delicious Kaleb!! Thank you for sharing your wonderful recipes with us. I was diagnosed with metastatic cancer and watching your vlogs fills my heart with joy and happiness. Send blessings to you and your beautiful family and Kip.
I'm gonna make this tonite! I think I will still use lasagna noodles, just breaking them up into pieces. I have all ingredients on hand-it was a meant to be dinner! Thanks, Kaleb!❤
That looks delicious. My dad goes to a seniors potluck once a month. I always want to send a nice dish with him, but I love easy too. This is what he's taking next time. Thank you!
Another idea my husband came up with. Take jumbo cheese filled ravioli, boil and drain. Use them to put in rows instead of lasagna noodles layered with meat and mozzarella and no need to make a ricotta filling because it's already in the ravioli.
I Love this and have made it before. I Love deconstructed meals that are delicious and easy to make. I've made chicken cordon blue meatloaf with ground chicken. I've made deconstructed stuffed cabbage roll casserole with bagged coleslaw mix. The list goes on and on. Thanks for sharing! Love your vids!
Looks so yummy! I will make this recipe. Lasagna is a favorite of mine! So a quick and easy casserole I can whip up for the comfort food feel laborsome lasagna gives to me, will be a great addition to my meal plan! We used cottage cheese too! 😊❤
We love a casserole in our family! My favorite is my “foo-foo tuna casserole”. I call it foo-foo because I use all the traditional ingredients in your basic tuna casserole but add white wine, diced water chestnuts, red pepper flakes and garlic, to “foof” it up and it is sooo comforting and deeeelicious! We also do something similar to this lasagna casserole with our random pasta with meat sauce leftovers. After dinner we make a cottage cheese, egg and grated cheese mixture and layer it in the middle of the leftover combined pasta and meat sauce in a tall CorningWare pot. Then all we have to do is heat it up for a “whole new and different” meal in a day or so. Easy-peasy and just enough difference to feel like it’s not “leftovers” for some... who shall remain nameless. Although, personally, I don’t think you can beat a good leftover dinner! It’s always better after the flavors have had time to mingle and get to know each other! 😉😂🙃 Yummmm! 😋🥰😋
Your videos are wonderful 😊 Yum! We love lasagna and your casserole looks delicious. I'll try the sausage cuz I love it but usually have to use turkey Italian sausage for health reasons.
Many years ago, a relative would bring a dish to family gatherings and I would give anything to go back in time and get her recipe! It was a corned beef casserole... egg noodles, probably canned (?) corned beef, breadcrumbs, lots of cheese... Healthy? No. Comfort food? YES! I have tried a couple recipes I found online but nothing seems right....
