I think he used to in his earlier episodes. Maybe smaller sausages are more likely to burst?

@@thewhitegoldfish He also got fewer bursts, I do believe. I think what's causing the bursts is actually how many holes he pokes into the sausages. He keeps riddling the sausage with a ton of holes, and the holes make the casing weaker. So I think if he made smaller sausages, as well as poked fewer holes, he wouldn't get as many bursts.

When they cook, they expand. So unfortunately, the ties come undone anyways.
