Let's face it, putting on false lashes can be tricky! Even more so as we aga and our eyesight starts going! Today I'll show you how I use Lashify for natural long, full lashes, quickly and easily! #over50beauty #notsponsored #lashify
I say in the video I take them off every night, I still find myself sleeping in them and wearing them a second day...maybe one day I'll get them to last 3-5 days. I did just purchase some disposable visors to wear in shower. Also, I do take my contacts out daily and use drops in them. That could also lift the glue if not done carefully. Still testing longevity options!
Not a sponsored video, but this is a referral link, this should get you 25% off your Control Kit, if it works, lol. Let me know if it does in the comments!!

Also out of my financial comfort zone, but it was fascinating to watch!! I loved it! I'm 74 & pretty much bedridden so I don't get out at all...but I definitely would have loved these in my younger days, just a few years ago...I love to keep up with what is going on...thanks for doing all the legwork!!! And, they look fabulous on you!😘

Thank you for this video. I have never heard of Lashify. It is good that there are options for women that are not blessed with full eyelashes. Lashify is beyond what I can afford and seems very complicated. I buy strip lashes at Walmart, usually in a "Wispy" style with a natural band. I cut it into three sections for easier control and apply one section at a time. I bought bulk packages of cheap lashes to practice with and it didn't take too long to get the hang of it.

Thanks for sharing. I think the process gets much easier and only takes me about 5 min. I don't think Lashify is worth it however (it's good but there are better options in my opinion) and I purchase Lilac St. they are less plastic feeling and fluffier than Lashify. I also like LashLinx - which are lash strips and they are very nice as well. BTW - most of these types of lashes last me two to three days - part of it is how you use the glue, part of it is I just don't like the feeling on my eyes after a few days. Nice video.

Hi Nicole, Are the brands you are suggesting as natural-looking as the Lashify? That's what I liked about Lisa's video... I think the lashes look natural, not obviously fake-looking.
@nicolelast230
@nicolelast230 2 года назад
@@jeanah.1039 Yes they look naturual and almost identical but they "feel" less plasticy for some reason. I almost think the bands are thinner.

Isn't it funny how we pluck hairs off our upper lip & chin, and try to get them to grow on our eyelids?! Thanks for reminding me how much I enjoy completely washing my face morning & night, using lash serum at night, & Lancome Tient Idole mascara in the morning. That's plenty enhancing ... false lashes would look fake on me. With your dark hair, looks great on you!

Yeah, you're talking out of my comfort zone here moneywise today. Plus I dont wear makeup often enough to invest in these. Mascara is enough for me plus one of these days or nites I will finally wear my KISS magnetic lashes. Ended my use of the Grande Lash products bc they are being sued, I think we are better off w/plain ole castor oil for lash growth but it's a mystery to me why we cannot grow our lower lashes. Thx Lisa, love you, take care!! ~~Chanel

@@LisaMonique You have a makeup channel so you may 'need' to keep using them. If I get this screwed-up refurb laptop fixed I will have a channel on fasting, so it wont involve sponsorships or results from many products lol. I've switched back to Rapid Lash, I dunno, worked very well a few years ago. Not being sued at least. Have you ever tried Blinq? I havent but heard that it works very well. All the serums seem to use whatever it is in castor oil as their main ingredient but I guess they screw up with some of their other additives. Ah well, mascara for now, magnetic lashes when I practice once and see the difference. :) :)

@@michelebrotman5345 That's cool! Gives me hope as I havent even practiced with them yet. I do know one thing - no way will I ever do the glue and the wait for it to be tacky and bend the lash thing lol, just way too much trouble for me. I just need a place to go that I feel 'deserves' a more glam look for me to put on the magnetic ones. Glad Ardell has them too, I dont desire spending a small fortune on them ya know? TY!!

I have looked at those, but don’t think it is for me. Thank you for outlining that process for us in a understandable way. Yes, she LOVES them. And since she gets 4-5 days of wear, they don't add any extra time. I can actually put on a new set in 5 minutes, so I don't think they actually will add too much time before work.

Dear Lisa, I love your video’s ! here in the Netherlands I can’t buy Lashify, but I will try a similar brand (Falscara) that is available here. I was wondering if I can use eyeshadow after applying the lashes.
@LisaMonique
@LisaMonique Год назад
Yes, I just put a dot on each eyelid and then rub it across the entire lash line, You don’t need a lot. When I started using it if I put too much on my eyes got itchy. But then I drop down to twice a week and worked my way up to daily and had no issues. When’s my lashes were longer and thicker than I drop down to a couple times a week for maintenance. I usually use at night but if I forget I use in the day and put the rest of my makeup on like any other serum.

I purchased lashify when they first came out. I like them, but they are too expensive to keep up. I just use my lash serum now and do my own at home lash lift and use Wayne Goss mascara. Lashes stay curled even when completely soaked.

I WAS using Rodan and Fields Lash Boost and it worked great, as does Revitalash, which my daughters now use. I have been using City Beauty’s City Lash and have been happy with it, it doesn’t thicken like lash boost or revitallash, but it doesn’t have the side effects, I was noticing the darkening skin on my eyelids. It does make them longer, I had that period when I stopped the lash growth serum where my lashes fell out and went back to the normal length, and now they are a little bit longer again. It does take a couple months regular use to see any results with both!

Why did you stop the eyelash serum? That seems so much easier unless it was causing a problem with your lashes. I am so shaky and uncoordinated I have never been able to use false lashes. I haven’t tried the Lashify and they are beautiful on you. I have used the serum for a number of years and I have never had a problem. I do change the one I use occasionally and I think that may be a good thing to do. You are a good teacher. If I did want to try the Lashify I would watch this tutorial several times, it takes a long time for me, lol. I enjoyed the video but I will skip this one.

Lisa Monique Beauty I bought my first tube in my dermatologist office. The nurse had the most beautiful lashes so I ask the Dr. If there was any risk and she kindly pointed out they wouldn’t be selling the product if there was any risk. We are friends so she was teasing me but she said it was totally safe so I proudly wrote them a check for $135.00. It worked after about 6 weeks. You’re smart to be cautious though.

You can keep them on at night, most people can keep them on for 4-5 days! That's too long for me, they come off easily with an oil based or 2-step eye makeup remover. You put on pad and hold over eye for 15-20 seconds and it loosens the glue and you can pull right off, easier than a regular strip lash.
