Lasko 6” Personal Desk Fan 

I honestly have forgotten about this fan since I mothballed it early last year. I placed this fan high up in my storage shelf & the box just blended in with the other fan boxes I placed around it, almost like wallpaper. Regardless, here I give you the full demonstration video at long last!
I have a lot of things I want to cover about this fan, but let's first start with the most important thing, which is its operation. I still think it's unbelievably quiet for the amount of air it moves, and it moves a lot of air for a fan made to suit a relatively cool climate. Sure it can't hold a candle to the 6" fans we have here in Indonesia that run very fast because most of their customers are people who live in tin houses with no insulation, let alone air conditioning, but as a fan to move air around in a small office, it works wonders!
What's also interesting to me is how long & thick the power cord is. I haven't actually unwound it as I'd much rather leave it looking fresh out of the box, but judging by how thick the coiled up wire is, I'd say the cord is at least 1 Meter, or 6 and a half 100 Dollar bills placed next to each other long. The fused & polarized plug is something I don't particularly care of, but I guess it's a good safety measure. The third thing I find fascinating is just how smart the design of this fan is, and how easy it is to clean & maintain. The front grille is only held in with 4 clips, the blade pulls of the shaft without a fight, and the rear grille twists off without the need of any tools. While you have those 3 parts in the dishwasher getting cleaned, you can remove the motor covers which are only held in with 4 small screws, and that gives you access to the 2 pole shaded pole motor with sealed windings & bushings that can easily be lubricated. The shaded pole motor itself runs a bit warm, but I feel like it's not stressed at all.
Overall it's a great little breezemaker for places that already cool, but in need of gentle air circulation. I'm not at all familiar with pricing in markets where this fan is officially for sale, nor what its competitions are, but definitely give this fan a try if you're able to get it, it surely won't disappoint!
