@@NoName-gn4rn I'm afraid I have to disagree, in this race it is obvious that he pushed so much to get away from 2nd position yet didn't manage to take care of the tyres conveniently. Thus we saw him struggling when Marc getting closer to him. During the 2019's season, the M1 were flawless compared to the 2020's.

Auto blipper You got very nasty drivers who will test your nerves like Marquez. He will zoom literally like a hornet round your ears to distract your concentration and get you on your nerves. It’s not proper to race like that but it isn’t illegal at all so. The best way to beat Marquez is to hold your composure and to stay calm under full stress. The best driver who has a better mentality to beat him on a good day but doesn’t has the real talent to keep on his level is Dovi.

Ninad Ganore Well it is a very dangerous sport. It’s like on tennis that a player is screaming and shouting every time to distract his or her opponent. It’s the same thing. It is a strategy but it is not a proper way to do it. You have the intention to discourage someone and with a dangerous sport like this it can lead to a heavy crash.

Right. I think his tactics is to just stay behind until the last lap. The pressure being at the front when somebody is following closely behind will make the rider prone to error.

he's learn the disadvantage of being followed by rins in silverstone, now he uses his experience to only get better.

If you watch the whole race you can see that his bike is 25kmh (check speed trap figures if you don’t believe me) faster in a straight line and that pass was like candy from a baby. He didn’t need a slip stream, he just needed to open the throttle.

@@Abhishek-150 his straight-line speed doesn't matter much because he has corner speed advantage. The tire degradation was his mistake because he burned it during the race trying to clear off.

Doesn't take a damn genius to come up with a strategy like that. He could have EASILY taken over the lead and left Vinales far away behind, but that stuck up asshole of a spaniard had to milk the cow dry until the end. When Vinales fell personally I turned off my TV "ugh... Here we go again. Whatever I'm fed up with this crap."

Nobody is ignoring it. We all know that they have great corner speed but lack HP.

Tracks have few straights and many corners. But, something must be the blame. But, they don't want to blame the rider. Maverick qualifies well but, struggles at the beginning of the race. Rossi does not qualify well and is know as the Sunday guy. He comes through the pack and the fades. It isn't the bike it is the riders. Fabio is proving this. This was evident even last year case last year.

Still not enough to surpass alien's talent. The rider always makes the difference

@@Rock-mo3ry I agree. Fabio is proving this, like you said. The problem is also that MM93 is amazingly good. Making everybody else look bad. Every now and then you get athletes that are just out of this world and make everybody else look bad. Happens in all sports. MM93 is one of those.

@@Dro_gon Marc is a genius. Without a doubt the best rider. My point is, with their current riders, Yamaha stands very little chance. When my Favorite rider (Casey Stoner) in 2012, doubted Marc would do the same to the premier class; I thought wtf. I knew as did others, he would dominate.

Sam Black I am 59 years old and watching MGP since childhood. Ago,Nieto,Rossi great riders but first of all,the competition was not as close as now,and second,they didn’t have the “magic”with the motorcycle as MM. Stoner comes very close to MM

Nobody mentioned the fact that Rossi wasn’t able to go fast on Stoner’s Ducati. During the winter test,Stoner was more than one second faster than Rossi on the same bike. What a shameful situation must that have been for Rossi.

@@samblack5313 They only count the highest finishing bike of the make, Marc won the race and Cal came second but only Marc's points count towards Honda's points. Miller was the highest Ducati so only his points counted etc.

Rossi’s era was just far more exciting and challenging. 2 strokes, satellite bikes, Ducati 40kmh faster in straight line, leaving Honda (takes balls, confidence, talent), racing WRC at the same time as winning MotoGP titles. Household name, built the sport. One of them is king of an era, the other is the greatest of all time. Racing past 30 is super impressive. Racing to 40 is crazy. We will never see another Valentino Rossi, but I hope he hangs it up at the end of this season. He’s done enough for the sport as a rider.
