Hey Anna, not sure if you're gonna read this. But, just wanna say. No matter where in life you go. Nursing is always gonna be a calling. And, it doesn't matter where you work at. You're always gonna make a positive impact on people's lives. And, that's something that I've learned 10 years ago when I started working at the hospital that I work at rn. Yes, even though I'm not a nurse. But, I've met a ton of nurses that have made a positive impact on my life and the lives of the patients that we have taken care of. And, nursing is your calling. It's what God has made you to do. And, yes, it does has its ups and downs. But, in the end. It's what you love to do. And, don't forget that.

I can very much relate to you about how you wish your mum could see you doing your job now! My dad passed away a few months before I received my first new grad offer as a periop nurse. He was always having cancer treatments in hospital and telling the nurses he had a daughter who was studying nursing too. I work in that same hospital now with the same surgeons who treated him. Hope I’m making him proud too as I’m sure your mum is proud! Love from 🇦🇺!
