another good vid mate. them castles and estates with water are where the original king carp were stocked. ive been lucky enough to catch king carp on a local estate. Stunning fish. Looking fresh pal and happy,keep at it

i did loads of fishing around that part of the straights. im going back 35 years , about a mile or so down to llangoad was a great bait digging beach, king rag 18 inc long monsters . bloody hard work but they were there and loads of lug further up the beach. i bet its had the life dug out of it now. the fishing was hard goin too. spent to much time feeding them bloody crabs. tonns of them

There used to be eels in there if you go inside up on the wall you can spot them 😊

I am in my 70s now and almost blind but I make sure I catch your vids.Hilarious..You and Mike are men's men...the best pair since laurel and hardy.! I'm back in Mid Wales atm as my grandad was run over by an 80 ton steam roller at the Bwlch y Ffridd agricultural show. He survived but the doctor reckons he'll be flat out for a few days...tight lines.

Google Caerphilly castle mate you can fish the moat around the castle has some nice carp in there also holds pike , bits of a drive for you though 😂
