Hi John from Plymouth, Devon, thank you for the vids, love them. Just wanted to say, I came to Llandudno to watch the snooker in Feb 23 and 24, I love it up there and am considering moving up. I have fished all my life, off rocks, beach, lakes, just like you. I mainly went with my uncle and best friend, Rob. Unfortunately, I have not picked up a fishing rod, since loosing him to suicide in 2022, after he lost his wife to cancer. When I see you and your friend fishing and the banter between you it reminds me of times with my uncle. I would love one day to catch a smooth hound from Beaumaris in his memory, maybe see you out there sometime! Tight lines, Ant.

Great video John keep it up. Ive fished the beach right by the pier and caught whiting doggies and small bass all at night. Good fishing. Tight lines maybe one day we can join up and fish the breakwater
So strange seeing the pier at the end where me and dad caught the boat to the Isle of Mann, 1977 on wards. As for the fishing just back there when you got on the pier to the left, where the tackle shop was, or still is, we caught dog fish from there. cant fish there now i think. great video mate.
As somebody who’s new to sea fishing but has spent 40 years game fishing, I often wonder if people would have more success with smaller baits and hooks. I have caught many a 15lb+ trout on a size 22 hook. Somebody showed me how to catch lobsters from my local pier using size 12 hooks, the lobsters put the hooks in their mouths. I have had more success with the small hooks for fish and my wife has never eaten so much lobster in her life.
Really enjoyed the vid. I've been fishing since I was a nipper I can catch anything in the rivers of mid Wales and could catch anything I went after. Tried sea fishing in Llandudno many times and haven't had a bite.
I love fishing Llandudno, I'm usually right down the other end by the little orme coz I can ride my little Honda C90 down the grass bank onto the beach and set my little shelter up and stay the weekend. Get some huge sand eels down there on my home made tiny feather rigs and then some nice bass later on the eels. It's mostly doggies for me though 😂 but in August you can sit there and watch the sun go down at 11 and come up again a couple of hours later right in front of you between the ormes 😍 friggin magical spot 👌
Been so long since been up Llandudno and Conway ways. So beautiful probably won’t be in them ends for a long time if at all fell out with my reason to go 😂 jealous guys
A great well presented video which I have enjoyed watching and listening to it's a shame about having to leave shortly after darkness fell just as it was livening up in my experience if there are seals in the area you may as well pack up and go home or move somewhere else well away from the area and try there as fish will sense there is danger from the seals and will clear off away from when you are fishing resulting in the lack of action please don't forget to keep those excellent videos of yours coming I am eagerly awaiting your next one 👍🐟
Hello john seals about no fish, they seem to come from west shore then go back again has it goes dark, wish I could get over there see mum but my health is not to good at mo, keep up the good work mate.
There is a big tackle.munching snag off the end , cast from left hand rail no snags best peg . I learnt the hard way to lost loads of tackle off the end
My uncle and me fished on that pier when it was that windy it blew the lead off the shops roofs so I can safely say it is real lead I've had Manny happy hours on the pier and caught loads of good fish as well as a few congers

Great video so Llandudno pier has lowered the price pity you still get kicked off at 8 when the fishing begins the good old days when you paid 3.50 an you night fished away or like me turned up Friday night an fished till Saturday night sleep b4 heading home an I'll never camp "turn around the field on the hill" were people had picnics ohh how quickly I pack my tent in the car an drove off lol good old days hope to see you that way from April onwards
Hi mate, can I give you a tip when I started sea fishing 45 years ago? I used to strike just like your self and an old man gave me some advice he said don't strike thats why you are losing fish I stopped striking, and he gave me 10 reasons why not to strike my fish landing doubled now I'm an old man I'm passing on the knowledge to you mate

I fished in the summer full of anglers and the end and they had nothing all day I sneaked on jigging of it had 2 big pollock instantly of little rhubarb jig
Just an idea when throwing back small fish put the wire of your lead up thru the gills and gently lower your fish back. They'll go gently into the water with no harm done.. Great video but just an idea, if you see Mr Seal pack up n go home or to a different mark. I've never had a decent session with a seal around... Nice little Dab..
