First bought some red coated cable just to see what it would look like and I have no problems with bird flaring. Secondly, I DIY all mine with mushroom weights they hold up in the wind way better.

Being a steel coated cable it will NOT be the last rig you ever buy, maybe if it was stainless. Steel will not hold up
