@@BOTAJELL Novarossi, Picco, VS Racing, are definitely the top racing Engines in my book. I have always used Novarossi and not once have I ever had an issue with them. Those Losi 8T's run like a bat outta hell. Dam I just may have to get me the 4.0. They handle really well. Unreal! Nice to see the Losi is going to a good home. Definitely that’s a great price for what you get and to start out with and very durable. You can upgrade to 4.0 turnbuckles and a better engine later on and you will have a bad ass on your hands
I actually bought this truggy right when you were reviewing it after your unboxing .i want to use the bump box i got the bump box but couldnt find the p!ate instock .i bought a xtra motor the mach .26 but the pull rope for it was like red sewing thread seriouslly ..didnt last long .but my stock .28 still going .i got the 4.0 mounts .wonder if the big red .28 would fit in same spkt as the stock .28 .

For bashing on stock is the 41032/9853 but depending on how and where you drive the most you can also do fine with 9886! If it’s a Modified? And depending on who modified the 28-8 because there are many ways of modding the 28-8 the combo to use and a must for bashing is the 41032/9886 for sure!

Agreed. I bought my first losi 8t rtr cause of u. Its damn good beginner truggy. But it's no 4.0. Mines a tank still. Just upgrade turbuckles and rear diff cups. Never a diff issue on mine 2 gal through it

Hey John just want to say hands down your the reason why I've sold all my traxxas nitros an have finally ordered a 8ight t rtr truggy should be in this week . I also ordered a lrp. 32 and it can in within 3 days an yes it's a sealed motor. I've got to get a back plate for the rtr .28 if you still have one I'd like to purchase it . I really wanted to get a TRL 8ight xt/xte truggy kit but just can afford it atm definitely will be a future purchases for me probably next year . What's your input on the new 8ight xt truggy kit?
What battery connector is on the receiver battery on the Losi 8ight nitro buggy rtr? I just ordered one, I need the cable to be able to use my prophet sport plus charger with out having to buy a new charger.
I know this is old video, was wondering for a somewhat noobie if this is a good starting point to get into nitro and track stuff. I have a habao hyper 7 nitro buggy but I know that is just very basic entry level not highest quality stuff. But I haven't touched it in years and wanted to start fresh and was wondering if this is the platform to do so. Speaking in terms of reliability and upgradability to slowly make it more of a race spec truggy as i get more into it? Thanks for any info love the vids.
Ive noticed alot of people trying to make their rtr losi look like a 4.0 and its a crime. A 4.0 is just that a 4.0 not a rtr with a few add ons. Im not a losi fan but i dont believe in faking a race kit with a rtr

When they bought and took over Armma there workers went to work for horizon hobbies and now there fucking everything up for us NITRO AND GAS ⛽️ HEADS !! I have seen the new X - Truggy and it’s bad ass ! Probably the nicest Fn Nitro Truggy I have ever seen looked like a killer layout / sick ass platform but Those E-word bitches at horizon hobbies are not extending there contract with TLR . You can thank those Armma bitches for this! Hopefully they will eventually release it one of these days ??? Even with the new X not released yet they should have never discontinued the 4.0 . I have many friends that bought used 4.0’s and rebuilt them from scratch with there personal set ups
That really sucks they are doing everything that they can to get rid of nitro. I have several motors modded by Neal that I’m trying to run. I love TLR they are my favorite company. Everyone is running to electric because they can’t and won’t take the time to learn how to tune. But that sucks that they are holding back on the 8ight t X. And they pulled all the other nitro truggy off of the market.

I love Truggies over buggies especially for bashing and even for racing but the new X Elite Buggy is so Fn sexy and just too notch NO ?’s. If you can’t afford it ? Go with the RTR that’s based of of the 3.0 but without the 3.0 Goodies it’s still a fun and durable rc

I agree I don't race but have many parts for all my trucks or cars, if I break something while bashing I can fix it and be back running in minutes, gotta have parts on hand...I've even helped other people out with parts and most ask why I have so many parts, but when they break down they know who to call....I love having parts...

See when I start my 29cc from cold it starts up revving high as heck is that normal? When I push on the brake lever it drops the revs down to idle speed ? Is that normal in cold conditions ?
Your end points are off! Do not attempt to drive it like that !! If you live in Long Island ? We can meet up this weekend and I will set them for you we will go over it together so that way you will know how to do it in the future on another RC or help a friend out . If your far from me ? Just go to your nearest hobby store or meet up with others that RC near you and ask them for help with your end points or look at some of my past videos that I have shown how to do it .

BOTAJELL Thank u bro carb needs a small tune last plug in it was so oily it wouldn’t start but that broke her in, starts fine no choke with one of those E3 plugs, just wait till u see where I’m gona bash at its like a triple hill up and down Does doing hills etc make the clutch slip ? After like 40 mins non stop bashing I’m sure I felt the clutch slipping so ended my day with a football field full of 4x4 5t rippin it marks 😂 I haven’t even got the grippy tyres for U.K. weather yet 😂😂😂

man i wish i could get my same engine to idle that well. if it sits a while it loads up then if i throttle it for a half sec and let up, it bogs down below idle sometimes stalling out :-\
Go to my past tuning videos . I show exactly how I tune after I do the break in of engine . Don’t over think things it’s easy! You must do and use the same things I do from fuel to glow plugs I’m sure you know by now I only use medium heat plugs and Byron’s 30-11 and this combination is the start of tuning and engine performance and protection
No sorry I gave what I had away to a friend so his son can learn how to rebuild a engine. Don’t waste your time on these dynamite 🧨.28’s just get a Novarossi 28-8 or a LRP.32 or a LRP .30 trust me you will be driving more for longer run times and way more fun times aswell! Please move on and away from the dynamite 🧨.28. You learned from it and now it’s time to move up to a better engine because your Losi Truggy platform can do so much more for you they can be bad ass!
