So the league season has come to an end. It’s been a mixed year with some great performances, some new players and some disappointments. Win this game and Sanderstead finish a creditable 4th in the division - an amazing feat given that only 3 years ago we were in Division 5.
Watch out for some Sunday cricket and Saturday friendlies assuming the weather holds in September.

Well done lads, thoroughly enjoyed following you all along this season from our bolt hole here in NZ. Almost feel like we know you individually including a number of the seconds who made appearances for the firsts this season. To Mr Sanderstead CC TV, thanks for taking the time to put this on RU-vid, I am sure we don't fully appreciate all the time and effort that goes into producing this fine content. Lastly, if any of you are ever in NZ we would make sure you get a good old fashioned Kiwi Welcome. Thanks Chaps - great to hear such positive feedback from so far away! The world cricket community knows no geographic boundaries and one of the things that has surprised us most is how much people want to see grass roots cricket and get to know the characters involved. Have fun with the Three Bridges guys - they look like a really good side and I watch their vids regularly. Have a great summer down under, and keep an eye out for winter content including Tricki and George vlogging from their Aussie travels to Sydney and Perth respectively....

Sutherland is who Steve Smith is likely going to represent during the summer (Banned from internationals/domestic ofc). Hope for Sanderstead's sake Tricki can manage a pile of wickets and get himself promoted. Might just get to play with one of the top batsmen in the world.

Enjoyed your videos. Ended up here accidently at the beginning of the season. Ours are starting in October. Dam levels looking better than last year. Hopefully a whole season. Preseason going as expected. Most of last years first side attending and a few from the second side. Numbers could be better. They prob. attending once the batting nets start. Scared of the fitness side of the game.

Hi Vicky - Jacko landed this morning I think. We have a couple of new players and we will introduce them as they play. First games coming up are Southampton Uni 1st XI games - this Saturday (vs Amersham) and next week 2 T20s against Portsmouth Uni. First league game for Sanderstead is 11th May. Can't wait....
