Gosh they're so natural with each other - great seeing them back together. Miss them both and HI! And Laremy reviving Wilson and talking with Tim across the fence! Really tugs at the ole 90's nostalgia heartstrings there! RIP Earl!
The only thing that would've made that scene better is if this dialogue was added in: HELEN: And my husband grunted a lot too. He had this really annoying grunt. MIKE: Aeuhh?!! HELEN: Yeah, just like that!
You know it freaking sucks that in the CMT version, the ending of this episode where Jonathan Taylor Thomas appeared as Randy Taylor (instead of John Baker) was not shown for some stupid reason.
@@MarcCaliber17_Commonweath Well anything possible I suppose but we are not sure. Do we introduce people to other people with a business name? I never have, and I don't recall anybody introducing a person to me as a business either. Anyway ... her comments are all about the show "Home Improvement" that ran for 8 years, with a similar house, a clumsy husband blew things up that eventually died, separated, or divorced? But they named her character Helen Pots instead of Jill Taylor. They kept everything the same concerning her character on Home Improvement except they changed the name. Perhaps it some sort of legality concerning copyrights ... etc.
Reportedly, it was very awkward for Tim to have Patricia on Last Man Standing. He said that she was on the show for promotional reasons. There were always issues between Tim and Patricia behind-the-scenes during Home Improvement. Equal pay demands, power struggle, dissatisfaction with their characters and storytelling. Patricia was so bitter and self-righteous that she deliberately used the pay gap between her and Tim to the ABC network as leverage to force the show to get cancelled, because she was pissed that Tim made more money than she did while she already knew that she wasn't gonna do the ninth season. Her actions were manipulative, unprofessional and dishonest. Which explains the significant decline of her acting career afterwards. And her actions is what ruined her relationship with Tim. After her gig at Last Man Standing, Patricia said that Tim has never really forgiven her for leaving Home Improvement. Based on her recent public verbal attacks and condemn towards Tim, Patricia tries to save face by blaming the ABC network for the show's demise and Tim and his politics for the show's bad reputation. No industry is perfect. But greed and ego has no place in Hollywood if you want to have a respectful career in there. Patricia made her own bed.
Them two together were really great. They were talented but had this special chemistry that worked off of each other. The last man standing was great too with Nancy, but just not on the same par. I was saddened when the show got cancelled because of the HATRED FOR OUR PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP. When abc cancelled it, fox should have just immediately picked up the show from the following episode and not gone woke.
Dont care for bringing back the past cast! LMS sucks. It's just a reversal of HI. Instead of three sons its three daughters, a blonde instead of a brunette, still in the hardware, home, almost the same floor plan. I love Tim Allen but you cant recapture the magic. The last two years of HI were flat, plots worn thin and kids all grown. I loved all of his Halloween shows. They were a highlight for us.
They didn’t listen. They’re going to whip up a fresh batch of Member Berries smoothies again in January with more outrageous callbacks from Tim Allen’s illustrious career in film and television.
It's a lovely homage to about the best sitcom ever produced - Home Improvement! Just like Newhart did by crossing his old show in the last scene of the finale of his new show!
