You seem like a very Personable Gentleman. Almost three years ago. I slipped in a huge puddle of water at Home Depot in my area. I didn't go down. However, my Body got so twisted around in an attempt to stay on my Feet. I blew out my S-1 and L-5. As well as cutting a Vessel in my left Hip. That killed the Hip Joint due to lack of Blood Flow. I've had three rounds of back shots as well as a complete Hip replacement. I've had very severe pain and sciatica the hole time. As well as not being able to walk three months before my Hip surgery. I'm pretty sure I have a good legal team on my side. Severe Back pain is a complete havoc on your life in every aspect. I just wanted to share my story. And let People know there is hope for you. I slipped and fell at Target store and broke my back and got hurt on my knee. I already had my surgeries and next month we will be sitting to negotiate. Not sure how much they will propose. I told my lawyer I will not settle for less than $2 million. After one year of my back surgery I am having back pain and lot of issues.

@@AttorneyArkady it happened in Gateway mall, Brooklyn. My deposition went well and I am positive about my case. However I saw my lawyer was not that serious in some cases such as keeping documents in order and organized where I had to struggle a bit and now everything looks good and hopefully I will get fair offer so we won’t have to go for trial.

I am one of your clients, I feel like my case is going to hell.Things are not going good. I am now waiting on a motion, to dismiss. No body in the office, says anything. This case is going on four years. My cracked insurance company stopped payment, on my medical. They said it is because I, did not show up for my appointment. You did not sue them ,so they could resume, my medical payments. I did not go to the appointment because, I was very sick. That should not be the reason why ,they stop my medical payments. I am just frustrated.

The prior lawyers put the case on the trial calendar without even taking defendants deposition. That is just insane. We’ve spoken many times and you have my cell. Besides that, my old lawyer and the defendant lawyer are ,good friends. I think they were in it, together. I think my old tried to ,sabotage my case. That is why I did not, stay with him. Do you think you can file an ,Alexander letter ,against my insurance company?I think I had $50,000 in the policy, I only use about 50% of it. Could you tell me something?How long does the judge take to decide on ,a motion to dismiss? These people total my car I never got paid, for it. I had a crappy lawyer , he has my case for two years. I decided to sue he was only getting me a 1000. Now its with another lawyer. He still gets money . JUST AWFUL
After 4 back surgeries, shoulder surgery and 5 years later my case is set for trial next month..again. I really thought my case was going to be settled by now but the defense sure wants to drag this on. They have admitted liability, crash is on camera and offered double the policy limit but still not fair value. Could the defense be waiting for the last possible moment before trial to settle the case? Thank you for your feedback and valuable info.

I was honest in my discovery and listed an injury over 15 years ago I called my doctors I had at the time to get the records and they don't keep the record's that far back so how would the other side get my records if I can't?
My spouse was hit by a company van & his leg snap off from under the knee - that leg was looking at him in his face - boot in all basicly - the other leg was broken / now he always in pain - hip not line up as before --- hip surgery they gave him as well - that day of,, he isnt the same man i marred" cause now he cant walk but a few steps.... Do you mean the defense lawyer in terms of a settlement offer ? It could be a few months or if they are devaluing your case you may never get one and have to go all the way to trial like I did for a client last week :)
I just had an electrical engineer that we hire for our buildings and every 10 years to inspect all the electrical boxes and all the meter rooms for the city that are in our building. And he asked me to open a panel that wasn't dangerous. Wasn't marked with any warning high voltage signs or stickers, He stated that the panel did not have any electrical live wires . He gave me no warning Of what was actually behind this panel, the room was open to the public. Insisted saying that a child can walk into this room at any time. Because it's not dangerous and it remains unloced He asked me to open the panel and it exploded in my face. I suffered third degree Burns on my face, hands, and arms. My Eye is not working properly, I have a cracked pupil. and my face Had to have skin graft surgery, You're a medicine i'm lucky to be alive. I am.. The housekeeping of the building and I was told by my supervisor to help this inspector in any way possible. It was the weekend and I was the only staff working that day. I already contacted lawyers and they said I'll have workman's complication and a negligence case. What do you think my outcome will be in this situation, please? The police department of the city took a lot of pictures of me and said that they were attaching it to a case theywere building? I just got out of the hospital after 4 days of surgery skin grafting. I have to go back to the hospital on the thirty first to see if all the surgery worked out. Hello i got rear ended by a semi. Driver admitted that he was on the phone. I got a servical fusion surgery and also i need shoulder and back surgery. I just got my deposition from they attorney, now in a couple weeks my attorney with them are going to mediation court. A clear liability case like that with a fusion should be worth a very substantial amount at least here in NYC. The mediation is like a settlement conference so there’s a chance it may get resolved. Definitely find out how much insurance there is. Your attorney should know. And also ask how much longer will it take to get to trial if it does not settle at mediation. Good luck

Hey quick question. I had to borrow 32k over the course of this last year due to multiple surgeries. I called a few weeks ago to ask how much in interest gone up so far and they told i owed 52k. My lawyer told me not to worry too much because they say they can negotiate the interest down when the case settles in what they say should be end of this month to early next month which i dont🙄 i mean they're beverly law firm and are supposed to be good but i just dont know.
Hi. Make sure the interest is capped so the 3/k doesn’t keep going up. Some funding companies will put a cap or ceiling on the funding. Why do they think it will settle by the end of the month ? If they have a good reason to think so like the adjuster promised them this then ok but if they are just blindly guessing and lying to you w false promises then obviously that’s horrible
@injuryjustice thats my concern cause at first it was by the end of last year then it became the first two weeks of January and now it feels like it's in limbo. They never say why they think its close. They just say they see no reason for it not to be settled soon. But i feel like the insurance company is also being shady because they keep switching adjusters. The original adjuster went on medical leave the first two weeks of January and the temp adjuster has stated he still hasnt even looked at the case file and would try to review it this week but if not, will let the original adjuster handle it Monday when she comes back. Idk its just been a lot. Apparently theyre tendering the 200k but wont seem to freaking settle.
Hello sir i slipped and fell at a Walmart, i had surgery for it and finished with all my medical now my lawyer is asking the defendant for 500k but if they don’t offer that he said he’s gonna ask for 600k and then trail if they don’t take that is it normal for lawyers to ask for less and then go up on the offer and you think my case is worth 500k or more?
It depends on the overall injury , type of surgery , city / state. But generally I think giving the defendants a settlement opportunity is a good idea. @injuryjustice How can a person fight while dealing with all the added uncertainty an accident causes? If you are injured and under financial pressure, and now you have to fight a legal system that puts all the pressure on the individual that has the highest level of uncertainty. Lawyers can only relay offers and do as they are instructed they are not allowed to fight for their clients. They are not allowed to tell their clients they are being screwed. Then, by the time you do get a settlement it's value is diminished and has little effect on getting a person back, even a fraction of their loss.
You have to find a reputable and experienced lawyer. That is key ! I help people do that. Stay away from the billboard lawyers who play the volume game and settle many cases on the cheap. You dont want a mill. You need a real trial lawyer who will work up the case and get the max settlement or verdict -- jury trials are key to empowering injury victims

" ooh well, isn't that convenient " and the old " it's a high school sports injury " . Then, even when you win, it takes so long to get anything that it does not even come close to paying for the losses. They simply wait till their victim is desperate, and then that leads to their next best defense. " Look, judge, they're desperate for cash this is only about money." The old point out the negative defense. Yeah, people are desperate for cash ! Isn't that the reality of being injured?
