It's just amazing to see so much love that that man had for Bucky. He rescued him and than stayed by his side for 49 years, until he passed of cancer in July of 2019. That's love, loyalty, and dedication. Chris was absolutely right when he said that most marriages don't last that long, now if only dolphins could teach people to love like that, than the world would be a better place!!!

Watching Roy tear up over Gypsy was so heartbreaking, glad they could help her out. Admire Lisa for being able to form a bond with Gypsy as well, seeing her go from a nervous wreck, to jumping all over the place and eating normally put a smile on my face.

I'm not exactly sure why, but this is my favorite episode of all the ones I've watched. Chris has innovative ideas and helped Bucky live 6 or 7 years longer. Lisa was so good to the shephard, who absolutely broke my heart when he was so scared. Andrew is a skilled surgeon - trust me, I watch what they show and as an OR nurse (for people) I know just how good Andrew does. I miss these three already. I hope they all keep working with the animals. They are all talented and genius in their own right, and compassionate with the owners as well. It's a gift and I hope they keep doing it.

Gypsy Loves her Humans so much, it's incredible how their presence changed her whole temprement. Edit : It is equally amazing how much this couple Loves Gypsy. If only every animal owner showed this much Devotion and Love.

I had a dog born with the RPAA. It created a Mega-esophaagus. A red heeler; absolutely brilliant, self-protective. Her life expectancy was maybe 5 years. After surgery to widen the esophagus we fed her differently and often and we had her for 15 years until she aspirated accidentally and became too sick. Too long of a story with too much info. I still miss her. She was a miracle.

What a unique relationship that Bucky had with his owner. What a brave dolphin! Rest In Peace Bucky! 💙🐬

I love Tassie Devils, they're so cute! I'm glad Chris was able to get him fixed up...and that the cast stayed on lol. Gypsy is so cute but it was heartbreaking to see her so scared and shy. I'm glad Lisa and Andrew were able to help her. Of course, it's also great news for Bucky. It's great Chris was able to treat him quickly without all the suffering that would come with chemo or surgery. Great episode as ever.

The story of Bucky brought to mind another story.. one where my mother rescued a husky/aussie mix from euthanasia. At one year old she had been so abused and broken by her owners and their children that the vets at the animal hospital didn't think she would ever be compatible with humans again. My mother..having taken care of her mother for the last two years in her fight against cancer.. was driving randomly around while the ambulance drivers and other medical personnel took away my grandmother as she had lost the battle. My mother ended up on a dead end road that was an ASPCA and she went inside mostly to escape the florida heat.. This is where she met Pepper. Pepper was laying alone in the hallway in a tin tub of cool water since her owners had staked her out in the august heat with no water or shelter.. the vet had just decided that she should be put down due to her injuries and because she would not respond to anyone. My mother knelt down and said to her.. little girl.. you and I have had a tough year. The vet watched as Pepper finally responded to someone.. she wagged the tip of her tail. My mother asked if she could have her..the vet replied..If she survives. It was a little over a month of care before my mother could pick her up from the ASPCA so extensive was her injuries and malnourishment. She weighed just 27lbs. ( after she filled out she hovered in the 50lb range for the rest of her life) I have never seen such a bond between a dog and her human. A natural-born skeptic and somewhat cynical.. I honest to goodness believe that dog could read her mind. They were inseparable for the next 18 years. We were so blessed to be able to spend so much time with such an intelligent and compassionate creature.

Poor little Gypsy :( It is really painful to have something stuck in your esophagus. I don't blame her for being terrified.

These are the scenes of dolphins that PETA never show people. Bucky was clearly very happy living in captivity. He has his friends, new faces, excitement from the crowd, and all the treats he could ever want.

Dolphins are one of my absolute favorite animals! They are such amazing creatures! Bucky and Greg's relationship is SO beautiful! Comes to show you how animal and human relationships are one of a lifetime. They stand the test of time. And the little Devils are so adorable! Their little growls and grunts OMG! I LOVE this channel!

Thankfully Bucky was able to survive an additional 7 years. He was truly amazing. RIP Bucky.

I relate to Gypsy's parents so much. Both cats are impossible to socialize. The one I am able to take to the vet will scream at everyone. I don't know what I'd do if they had serious health issues.

HHHHHHH- These episodes always make me cry- I don't want them to stop, but at the same time I do- AGHHHHHH-

Dolphins are beautiful intelligent creatures and we learn so much from them and about them. This very special dolphin is so worth saving. All creatures are worth saving and have the right to live and so does Bucky. Water creatures are especially important to the state of affairs our eco-system and know what we can do to protect them. I think it's safe to say that most people love dolphins. What's not to love??? Bucky is a porpoise or a 🐬. Either way, both are very deserving of our love. I felt so bad for Greg. Even though he didn't become emotional, I'm sure he was devastated. Forty two years together says it all. Poor Bucky and Greg. He's devoted to Bucky and it shows. And aren't these creatures so talented. I'm ALWAYS in awe of what they do to entertain. They are just amazing. ☹️😨😰

I hope Roy, Hazel and Gypsy are just having the best life together. Their little family had me grinning when they were all going home.
