Why the hell is anyone feeling bad for Trey lance? He's made plenty of money, and it's his fault for declaring for the NFL draft earlier than he should have, Trey went for the money, when he should have just went back to school and got another year under his belt.

Now that I think about it, I don’t compare him to past quarterbacks Brock Purdy. He reminds me a lot of Mahomes for Kansas City.

If no deebo or Aiyuk trade, why draft another slot / gadget WR Cowings n sign Owen's son n extend Jennings. Niners have 10 WRs for 5-6 roster spots. Couldn't they use more players at other positions. One wonders how deebo n Aiyuk or Jennings fit with Pearsall or Cowing in 3-4 WRs sets when 21 formation is what gives defenses run/pass fits. Brown, Hufg (ACL), n 4th rd draft pick all seem to be SS, isn't a replcemet f or FS Gibson needed. Last yr drafts picks haven't shown up yet. KR Moody (not Robbies yet, miss some kicks), SS Brown (why brought in Logan for playoff), LB Winters or Graham (need to step up for Greenlaw (ACL)). TE Latu or Wilis (need to step up, backups have left), CB Luter (needs to show up, or be passed by CB Green). If Kyle or Niners are thinking about the 2025, why wasn't the O-line or D-line addressed? Coach Turner RBs haven't found great RBs since Kyle 1st SB, once those RBs left. Been searching for replacement. Like Sermon, Davis, Mason, Mitchell. Cmc was a trade. 3 RBs sign UFAs last yr. None made team. This yr, 1 drafted RB n 1 UFA RB signed. Will they make team?. Niners need more production from draft picks. Niners need to play backups more, rest starters. Old starters. Longer season. Give opportunity n experience to backups. Kyle might be afraid to use backups, means staters are run down for playoff. Waste potential n talent of backups. Vets can make mistakes too. Backups learn n improve by playing. Hopefully, Niners have found some players that can help them win now.

Trey has no path to being a starting QB in the league. Canada might be his only chance to play QB at all.

Disgruntled Lancers and Affirmative Actioneers are still Brock Purdy's main detractors. The two often overlap as well. Another subgroup that kind of fits into the same Venn Diagram model are people who think athleticism is the most important trait a QB can possess. These people tend to be less intelligent themselves, and thus, place less importance on intelligence as a trait. Like Alex Smith said, the most important traits are accuracy, processing ability, and toughness. The best QBs to ever play the game were never the greatest athletes on the field.
