@Macdaddypimpping ...Ok then it should play with the plug in the outlet then.....you shouldn't need the battery if the electric current is flowing...it cuts on an then goes right back off

I was about to purchase a replacement battery. So I went ahead and removed it and noticed it was a 12v battery. I ended up charging it with my car battery charger at 2 amps. Popped it back in the speaker and it’s working again. Try this before you purchase a new one.
Although recommended charging current should be 5 times less then what it’s rated. That’s all I had so I used it and it did the job. I just kept a close eye on it

My battery measures 12.6 vdc. The 3 green LEDs AND the red one are all lit when the power cord is disconnected. I thought maybe the inline fuse was bad on the red wire, but doubt it now since the LEDs are lit. If the fuse was bad how would the LEDs get current to light ? I will test the battery under load, but any ideas if its the battery or what ?BTW how to get the battery cover off: take a piece of coat hanger and with pliers bend the end up a little. It will fit in the 6 screw holes. Go around all of the screw holes inserting the coat hanger and lift up slightly. Keep going around and it will come out. Another possibility: use a suction cup from Harbor Freight. Also the handy little coat hanger wire can be used to get the battery out too. Just insert it on one side with the little bent tip under the battery and lift. Then go to the other side and do the same. Keep doing this, alternating sides, and eventually the battery will lift out high enough for you to grab it. When you replace the battery, make sure per the video you put a ribbon around the battery so you can lift it out next time easier. What give with my battery ? The unit works fine when plugged in BTW, but not on battery power even though the battery shows 12.6VDC.
It doesn't matter if battery shows 12.6v and then you crack up the volume it dies. If it does that then that means your battery is bad, if fuse is burn out then your unit can not even turn on at all. Good luck.
@@macdaddypimpping The inline fuse on the power wire was blown. I removed the fuse and connected the wire to the battery. The radio still doesnt turn on only when plugged into outlet
Mine came with a 3-4” red wire. So impossible to hook it back up. I’ll make a pig tail but it would have been nice if they just opened a new roll of wire instead of using the last 3” of the roll. After exactly 1 year. Mine won’t power on even plugged into the wall. They would fix it if I pay shipping. $80.00. One direction.
