​@@LuckyTheSaint Possible, but alocal shopkeeper saw him at 6AM on Monday, at the bust stop by himself. He asked her when the next bus was due, and when she told him, he shrugged and walked off - again by himself. So he was a free man at this point making his own decisions. The two guys in the air bnb therefore can't have been kidnappers - unless they were partiicularly bad ones! Other possibility is that Jay robbed those guys and was doing a runner. Seems odd that he went al the way to visit for one hour; apparently he said he was going off to get cigarettes, but he wasn't, was he? He was trying to get away, and afer he learned there was no bus due, he bean walking, and the witness said he was walking 'quickly'.

@@ericambler486you’re right, the two guys offered to give him a lift back and as they were leaving they caught him stealing a a watch and kicked him out, they’ve spoken to the police about it and also Lucy who conveniently misses that out. They keep explaining on the Facebook forum what happened as people are saying they are suspicious and it keeps getting deleted He was still at the house at 7:30 when he took the pic, the neighbours heard them partying at 6am and said it was laughing and music not shouting and fighting

Well if you took drugs and alcohol the night and early hours of the next day you would still be under the influence at 8am the next day so not really in your right mind plus he didn't really know where he was after going with 2 chaps about 40 mins drive from the Rave that could be about 20 miles away if you know the way nit sure why he didn't t wait for a bus which woukd come 3 hours later rather than walk with 1%phone battery and no water plus not knowing the way of treacherous unfamiliar terrain in the heat of the day and cold temps at night - he told his friend Lucy when he called her at 8 am that HD had cut himself on a cactus which shows he was probably off the beaten track

The shop worker who spoke to him at 6AM on Monday reported no signs of him appearing to have bene injured .. he was by himself, making a decision to leave ... clearly not being held captive there.

@maureen3300 I understand what you're saying. But you initially said "allowed" him to travel alone, when you can't just not allow an adult to do what they want. And the less mature they are & the more they need guidance to not make poor decisions is probably the less likely they are to listen anyway cos they often think they know it all. There are other 19 year olds who'll travel abroad, live alone, etc. & be fine. And there's no need to fear monger saying don't go on holiday & have fun & gain life experience just because Dr Moseley accidentally died. Coddling them stifles their growth.

I've been to this region, and not only is it hostile and challenging in places, but once you get off a main road everything looks very samey, and you loose visibilty of your staring point as you descend down steep terrain. Trails can be deceptive and misleading ... sometimes leading nowhere at all, at which point you can't see or remember where you've come from. Added in that he'd been on a three-day drug bender, had no water, had had very litle sleep over the weekend, had the wrong footwear, and had cut his leg (only wearing shorts and a t shirt) on a cactus, and being stranded in direct sun, with sheer drops and loose ground all around ... it's really looking not good at all.

Yes because nobody has ever been on 1% battery or totally out of charge when they've needed to make a call. It's literally happened to most people mate 😂
