The latest updates on my new baby, "Bianca" which includes Ceramic Pro 9H (Diamond Package), HFP body kit and rear decklid spoiler, 30% window tint and more.
That is one BADASS machine man. I really dig what you've done additionally. I have the same car except it's a 2015. Currently has 48,000 miles. They are beasts and handsomely appointed. I can't believe these didn't make a killing in sales when the last generation of v6 coupes achieved this level of power and design. Thanks for the vid!
So much respect for this car man. I love the fact that you care so much about it... too many people get these Accords and just neglect them... I have a 2010 Civic Si and I’m the same way as you. Beautiful car man!
I recently bought a 2016 Touring V6 fully loaded. Metallic silver. The dealers were "all giddy" because they know what this car means. Yeah, take off the Traction Control and she’ll get the "F**k out of dodge!" It has presence too.
Keep the updates coming. I live in Alabama (so I could legally do the darker tint). I purchased the exact same car 2 weeks ago (like you, have driven accord v6 coupes for a while - My first was a 1998 in color Black Currant Pearl - Then 2008 in color Crystal Black Pearl - Now my 2017 (instead of my original plan to trade next year) in White Orchid Pearl. I also always add the "kit" when I buy one. Taking mine back to the tint guy to get rid of those bubbles on the back window and adding the black strip. Looks great on your car!
Karen Burton - Wow, thanks for the compliments, Karen! Always happy to help fellow Accord owners out on getting ideas on how to mod their cars! 😊 I have never left a car stock, one of the main reasons why I purchase and have never leased, because my most favorite thing to do is to make it unique and my own. I usually stick with a very classy, OEM look though with my cars; never anything dramatic or what I like to refer to as "what a 16 yr old would do" lol! Congrats on your new purchase! Check out my new videos where I've added illuminated door sills and a custom footwell illumination 👍🏻
I got a 2017 v6 ex-l coupe Sept 2018. Was a hold over (ie. sat on dealer lot for a year). Bought brand new with 40 miles for 25k. Owned for the past year, been a good car so far 👍
Awesome car! I have the 2016 HFP v6 coupe in that beautiful metallic blue. Love the car. I wish it has the parking sensors like yours does, and navigation. I've got the illuminated step plates, but I wish it had the LED headlights that yours has. I love the look of those lights. It just turned 17k miles and is soon due for its 3rd set of tires. Honda sent a notification that it's due for tires. They don't last long on the car, so that's probably my only complaint with it. I like getting 35 mpg with it. I'm a Mercedes and Volvo guy, but this Honda is making it really tough to stay partial to European stuff.
xavierp0nce 😂 I’ve been a faithful coupe owner - I wish more would’ve been 🙁 Oh well...maybe if enough people complain they’ll bring it back for the 10.5 refresh lol
Nice ride bro! I just purchased the same model/color, though I had the wheels powder coated black. Great video, kept me drooling until mine was ready for pickup 🤤
i bought the V6 Ex-L 4 door. white with black interior. best decision since no more of this transmission. i had to call 8-9 dealerships in Canada to get this last piece. Coupe is nice too.
I had a 2014 exl coupe and man I miss my car I regret selling it but looking forward to get a more upgraded version like this white one The v6 touring is so mean my favorite car.
CharlietoKind - Thanks Charlie! As a previous owner of a 7G, I can definitely say that the 9G’s do not drive, ride or even remotely feel the same as the 6th Gens / 7th Gens did. To me the 2017 feels a lot more “boaty” than my nice, compact, rounded / curvy 7.5G coupe did...but I can say that I am getting more comfortable / used to it now after almost a year. It’s still hard to judge sometimes just how close you can get to objects and safely clear them (i.e pulling into my garage or up to a cement barrier in a parking space) but hey I guess that’s what the audio bumper sensors are for, right? 🤷🏻♂️ LOL One thing that I will say is if you’re a 2DR coupe guy, buy a 2017 V6 coupe now while you still can, as it is the last year for both the coupe and the V6 😭
🔥🔥 additions bro! I also own the 2017 Honda Accord Coupe V6 Touring (60,000 miles) (last one made / same car but crystal black pearl) and it is faster, with more features than essentially every car on the road. It is truly a gem and so slept on in all facets. I live in Mass and have yet to see another one of my exact car to this day. I feel like the V6 Touring Coupe’s are VERY rare and are nicer / faster than a lot of more expensive luxury cars. Also, the self-drive often works for minutes at a time and people are blown away it can do that. Then their is distance pacing, automatic headlights / high-beams, etc., all ahead of their time, underrated features. I am very OCD m, and five, six years later my car still looks brand new, especially the interior. I plan to keep the car forever. Thanks for reading. Any other opinions?
Amazing Car. I was blown when they didn't make this interior and exterior colorway for the manuals. I own a 2016 6-6 in Dark Grey Metallic. Wish I had taken better care of my car but will probably own for another 2+ years
The coupes are never coming back. These cars are perfectly aligned to becoming collectible antiques in the near future. The value of these cars will go up.
@@ZSPZay right that one will have the top value I honestly think so Manuel gives the car more liability and last longer and gives the car more torque and power
I purchased this same car on August 29th 2020..I have the same interior..it only has a little over 39,000 miles on it.. I love it! Where do I get the floor mats? What kind of gas do you recommend? Who do I see about having everything ceramic coated?
Coconut Poptart - Last year for the Accord coupe as well. Honda put all of this design and engineering into the Civic, this apparently is their way to FORCE people (to downgrade) and buy the Civic coupe. 👎🏻 I'd rather them ditch the Civic coupe and keep the nicer, more loaded Accord coupe.
Hi ! I have exactly the same car and I love it sooooo much jajajajaja !and I’m with you my brother, I don’t want not F 4 cylinder turbo , I’m a coupe v6 guy !! I hate 4 door sedan car , so unfortunately this is probably my last Honda Accord coupe v6 jajajajaja good luck my friend 👍…
I absolutely love your car! It’s my dream Honda Accord. I traded in my 2008 Accord EX Belize blue Pearl which was cherry after 14 years of ownership. But, I traded it in for a 2022 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E radiant red. I love the truck but always wanted a truck and a car. But, noooo I screwed up trading in my baby just to keep the truck below $50,000!! I just bought it in December 2021 and I think about my 08 all the time!!! I even tried to get it back but dealership sold it in 1 week. Fudge!!! So now I’m looking all around the city and watching videos on RU-vid for a 2017 Honda Accord coupe V6 preferably manual transmission but automatic would be fine. Does the touring come in manual? And in Belize blue or whatever that beautiful bright blue is called now. I truly can’t afford another payment but even thinking of taking money out of 401k to get one. I live in San Antonio tx and the dealership has a car exactly like yours for $25,500 right now!! Little pricey but I’m going crazy missing an accord! It’ll probably be sold by the time I finish this message!! Lol! Well just wanted to say awesome car and I love the passion you have for your vehicle I’m the same way! If I ever do get the 2017 touring or any accord I’ll let you know! Later!
I have the crystal black pearl 2016 HFP Accord touring coupe. Has aero kit and was a Honda build car for the auto show circuit. Window sticker has no price on it
You have done a great job of detail on this Honda Coupe. Didn't know you could do that much mod on it. I have a 2013 V-6, and would love to just add that spoiler to mine. Looks like it should have been stock on this model...nice ride. I like this car so much that I hope to find a low mileage 2017 out there. Honda should have never ended this production model.
Pimp as phuck bro! I'm getting my 2016 accord coupe Ex-L V6 with black paint job this monday. I was curious can I order the HPF body kit from the dealership and have them install it? Or should I take it somewhere else?
I started to wrap the chrome in black but then ended up pulling it off and just leaving it chrome lol Not too much happening lately, she just had her state inspection and only her second oil change ever at Honda last week - the service manager told me to call him when I’m ready to sell 😆 they all want her for themselves 😏 she’ll be 2 years old 5/18 and just rolled 11k miles
So much ceramic you gunna slip out of your seat lol. Love the car tho. I got a 2015 V6 and it's just one one of the best cars you can get for the money.
Nice car my g I just bought one there sick way faster than I thought I also got it with an automatic transmission a little bit better fuel economy than the manual transmission you still get paddle shifters and you're one second faster than the manual transmission with this day and age and Technology I just opted for that kinda like a budget version of a nsx I know it don't got the 9-speed duel clutch transmission but you still have a pretty engagement experience driving with the paddle shifters at high speeds just like a Lamborghini or Ferrari or are a true sport car is going to be driven with paddle shifters plus I like having both hands on the wheel cuz that torque steer is a b**** LOL. Especially once you start to mod that s*** to push reel power
Where do you buy the rubber mats? What brand? I am trying to look for husky liners, but they don't produce for the coupe one. I even called them to ask if I can factory order it, and unfortunately no until foreseeable future. Thank you
So funny I did the same exact thing when I upgraded my mats and got the all season I put the carpeted ones in the truck on the mat to the back. I only have the EX version but want the body kit and 19”s dropped. Same color too. Clean as fuck my dude.
DreaminAccord I’m trying to get that same look i think we have the same exact taste. I like it more with stock parts then aftermarket but still upgraded.
Where did you purchase it from. Do you have a link. Also I looked on eBay for the illuminated sills only see sedan models. Is that what you purchased. Beautiful car by the way
Yessir, as I stated in that video, coupe owners will have to purchase the 4 door sedan door sills - just throw the rear ones in the trash as you won't need them lol You can purchase vinyl anywhere, I know that Amazon definitely carries the 3M 1080 series.
DreaminAccord thank you for for help. I need to upgrade the horn also. What to I need to do. I promise no more questions thank you for all your help with the upgrade questions
civicex5speed - The headlights are okay I'd say - but I'm also probably a very biased critic coming from one of the best Bixenon HID projectors...the clear lensed 3G TLs 👍🏻 LED is never going to have the clarity, width and sharp cutoff like a HID setup will...at least not yet anyways. They are definitely a step up from halogen and the main reason why I had to get the Touring but I am a little disappointed in the fact that I feel like Honda "cheaped" them down compared to their big sister Acura's LED headlights. 👎🏻 When I pass an Acura MDX at night, their output pattern is definitely a lot sharper and brighter than my Accords. But hey, I guess it's a step in the right direction for Honda at least lol I'll have to do a night time headlights video soon!
Yes, a night time video would be nice. I know it sounds odd, but could you put EX-L Accord lights in and then do a retrofit? I think the LED lights are a little too blue for my use. But I run a 4500K bulb in my retrofit.
civicex5speed - Yes the LED and Halogen projector lamps are interchangeable. The direct drop-in retro from TRS for the halogen EX-L lamps use the 4G TL projectors which Acura has now made Low Beam HID projectors only and no longer Bixenon - so to me it wouldn't be worth it. I do love the look of my Touring's LED lamps and don't get me wrong, they are good headlamps, they are just in a completely different class than my 3G TL HIDs. I'm sure I'll get used to them and grow to love them - it'll just take some time as I've been a die hard HID fan for many years and have retrofitted the last 4 cars I've owned lol 👍🏻 One nice feature about the Touring is the auto-high feature where my car will automatically run the HBs at all times and the second it detects on-coming traffic it automatically disables the HBs 😏
civicex5speed having owned both the HID and LED version myself, I can personally say that the brightness and clarity of the LED is far superior. There is a mild blue hue, but I can't believe how well the LED lights up the street! I will say though, I do much prefer the overall style of the HID version, it just looks more sporty. I have considered swapping them and installing LEDs in the projector housing.
im taking an 8th gen and up accord coupe over any base bmw or benz or infiniti or lexus...Its Honda all day best cars and engines and coupes look absolutely amazing
Uly Freeman - It all depends on your vehicle and its condition / how much paint prep needs to be done. Minimally for Gold package expect around $1900 and $2500+ for Diamond package
Yea, C Quartz Ceramic coating on virgin , corrected paint will last just as long. Ceramic is the new big thing in Auto detailing. I’ve been detailing for 10 years and frankly a good correction using a good micro abrasive compound(Honda’s have hardly any clear coat, DONT let a detailer over correct your paint, you’ll have no clear coat in 5 years). Anyway, back to correction, have it done then add a coat of synthetic sealant applied, typically last about a year then add some Collonite 845 to bring back that pop that ceramics dull, which they absolutely do. And ceramics don’t help with scratches and paint chips. Get a clear bra ASAP, trust me you will not regret it! I have the same car with 10k and the front has so much road rash it’s crazy. Talking to Honda of America now about it. Even the dealer agrees with me. Oh, and wait till your Stanley LED DRLS go bad, and they will! It’s another known issue which is killing all of the 16/17 LED DRLs. Sucks, I’ve been a Honda guy for 23 years and my 16 Touring Coupe will be my last, unless the Prelude(made in Japan is available soon). Other then that, your car looks good. Just don’t believe the hype in ceramics, especially on daily drivers. It just doesn’t make sense. Unless you just buy the C Quartz. Oh, why didn’t you’re tiny guy just add a layer of bonded adhesive to the top of the rear widow so he could have a smooth surface to lay his film on? Having that vinyl on your window must really provide no visibility! Have your tinter use super glue or epoxy, spread it really thin and tint over it, no more porous area to tint over.
I have a 2015 v6 that i got with 39k miles, what do you recommend I do to keep the paint from deteriorating ? p.s. After like 4 washes I have a ton of swirl marks despite using microfibre towels and 2 bucket wash method
@@braulioescatel3169 sounds like the paint was already marred, swirled or otherwise. Bring it to a detailer and have them correct the paint. Let them know it is a daily driver, and you know it will have issues again. I would ask for a 1 step correction, Speed HD, Griots Perfecting cream... there's a ton of options. You need to find a good detailer that knows what they are doing. I personally wouldn't get ceramic coating on a daily driver, it just doesn't make sense.
