Actually the primer used for bumpers is a different primer from the primer for metal body panels.The primer used for bumpers has a chemical added to it for elasticity,so the paint won't chip or crack if dented.Also most manufacturers have their bumpers painted at a seperate facility prior to assembly.

Thanks for talking about the ‘13 because I’m choosing between a 2016 and 2013 but the 13 is my budget but the only difference I’d the fog lamp difference and is a stupid reason to get it since there’s a $5,000 dollar difference since these are both Ex-L models.

Those things are not 100% true because mines brand new and it’s not the same exact color. Plastic and steel are totally different depending on so that’s why but what you said could be true. It’s not exact brand new from the factory, go look at any brand new car you’ll see a difference.
