I have tried using decorator's caulk for cracks because it's flexible and because I would expect polyfilla to just re-crack. It seems to have worked, but the repair was a bit visible from the start.
Yeah now I need to find the money so someone can repair the wall around socket and screw it flush to the wall currently one side dosent screw down and there's gaps 😩being disabled can't even do it my self

Would you use expanding foam each time, or would you ever use thistle binding then filler on top before sanding and painting? How would you attach the pattress if it's loose... I've seen some just ue an adhesive on the back...?
Do you ever use the premixed poly filler in the tube? I notice you make a lot from powder so just wondered if you thought they where any good as I have a few jobs coming up that will require some poly filler. Thank you
that socket is badly install and been bagged with decorating caulk then to follow by peas off resistance (the foam) looks likes is been there good fixings.
Great work, would this work on cracks on a swirl effect artexed lath & plaster ceiling ,I've taken up flooring and applied PVA to hopefully strengthen it, anyways Thanks for yours videos they really help
How do you know when to use this method of the holes verses taking a knife and cutting out all the loose plaster and seeing how big of a crack it really is?
