Girls band cry has become one of my favorite anime. And it has the best music! The band exists irl and the band members were extra trained for voice acting in their respective characters. I recommend you to check out more of Togenashi Togeari’s songs. If you want a good music anime: K-on, Girls band cry, Bocchi the rock, Hibike Euphonium and Your lie in April Those are the ones I can spontaneously come up with (they are just soooo good)

Bro, Kroi is the one of my craziest discovery last year, they're really good. I dont watch the anime tho. And about the virtual idols, japan literally have their own genre, like from anime idols to the AI related idols, they have it all, I dont think they're really that big tho, but they did have a massive following. They do have quite a number of music related anime, a lot of them are drama or slice-of-life, so just prepare your heart if you want to watch them. One that I think will be good for newbie is Sakamichi no Apollon (Kids on the Slope), from the music to animation, they really slayed it all. But if you want something that is new and more anime-ish, try Bocchi, its one of the fan favourite last year. Both of the anime is not that long so I guess you can watch it with ease Also I want to recommend jpop for the podcast, but I just new it would be too wide of a theme. But I've always want to introduce you to legendary jpop artists, lol. Yk just how diverse they're with sounds, they also have so many music communities underground. But yeah, I'll listen whatever your decision is

Bartender Glass of God had one of the best Opening this year. I never skipped the opening to the latest eps. That song is so good. Takaya Kawasaki need more recognition for this. His other music are also a banger. Managokoro released last month. Check that out, it's goooodddaah...

The best musical anime(in my opinion) is beck: Mongolian chop squad (watch in English dub) It’s about a rock band trying to make it big(way more complex than that) they got a whole album too Or nana which is up there as one of the goats (They are on the older side though)
Probably going to get buried in the sea of comments, but I'd love for you to check out "Indigo la End" and/or "Gesu no Kiwami Otome". They share the same vocalist/guitarist whom is very notorious in Japan because of a scandal. The music is great though

Sorry u have no obligation to read this but if you're at all interested in Kroi ↓ Kroi is a Japanese band formed in 2018 with 5 members. They're influenced by genres like R&B, funk, soul, rock, hip-hop and their songs are filled with engenius change-ups midway. (Think the vocalist is a rly good rapper too) The band name comes from the Japanese word kuroi黒い (the colour black), since that's what you get when mixing up all different colours. Some of they're most successful songs ("Sesame", "Balmy Life", "Hyper", "熱海/Atami") have Eng subtitles on RU-vid. Please please take a look!! Didn't expect to see them on your channel cause they're still kinda up-and-coming

this season is a beat weaker in terms of both anime and anime openings compared to previous seasons. Watchout for summer season many good shows coming and we'll probably get some good openings as well.
